yeah. Tuesday and Thursday are going to be my big catch up days

 

[The Theory]

I participated last year and got about halfway through before life caught up with me. Theoretically I'm participating this year, but I can tell already that it isn't going to happen. I think I have exactly one handwritten page. If I wasn't in school I could probably make the difference up... but life is just too chaotic at the moment.

Yeah, I have maybe a couple thousand words right now...definitely not where I need to be.

I'm going to try and write more today and tomorrow, but I should probably figure out what exactly my main plot is for this novel. It seems to be staying together pretty well though, so far.

We shall see.

5500 ~ but I'm a slow starter & sag in the middle so I'm hoping next week will be better only now I'm sick & feeling like the dog's dinner warmed over . Yuk!

I'm really behind. 3961 words. But, luckily, we have a lap top and I'll be the passenger for the entirety of a 3 hours trip! I'm sure I'll catch up.

It's harder than I thought. I keep blanking out and thinking "Does this even make sense!?" Hehe.

I've passed 10 000. That's the first really big hurdle for me. I just work in really short amounts 100 here 200 there but it all starts adding up. I've just got to get those bursts to the point they add up to my 1500 a day. oh well. There's a way to go yet.

I'm at about 15,000 words, which is roughly on track for the goals I've set. I'm enjoying this a lot, and every time I start typing the ideas just stream out of my fingers. The characters have their own ideas.

I got roughly 3,000-ish words typed out last week...but when I went to save it to my disk the computer went nuts and now I can't access the document...at all.

I was really enjoying the randomness of the story too. I still haven't found the motivation to restart it and am considering dropping out this year. There's other things that I could be doing. *sigh*

Hoping to hit 40 today or tomorrow. Major edit needed already & keeping the inner editor hog tied is getting more & more difficult the more holes she finds in my plot.
