i'm not participating this year though i did put an excerpt in my nano profile. i couldn't resist so i wrote about 6,000 words and left it at that. i have 7 papers due in the next 5 weeks so i decided that was more important.

owl, i get the impression that you're a fast writer. I'm sure you can write 50K if you choose to do so. For goodness sake, 6000 words prologue! that's almost 10K.

lol, yeah, i could do it but that'd put too much pressure on my classwork and stress is a very bad thing for me. last year i finished 64k by november 20. but then i was already failing everything and nothing i did could possibly raise my grades so i kinda threw it all out the window.

Had every intent of starting right at midnight on Nov. 1st, but I've been out of commission for the past week and a half (a big God thing ), so I'm debating on whether or not I want to try and see what I can get crammed in to three weeks, even though I sort of doubt it'll be even close to 50k. *ponders/procrastinates*
