Do any of you have White Castles by you? We used to go and get them (little hamburgers for those who don't know) then we would take them and go to the airport (outside the fence) and watch the planes come in and take off. There were 6 of us kids....so we had to do inexpensive activities....we loved it!

tin play dishes....were great....they held up in the dirt!

I have heard of it but did not see it in Australia.

I had alot of the origional comic books that my Grandmother gave me. It's a shame they were all thrown away by my parents when we moved. Phantom, x-men and superman were my favorites.

Does anyone still have their old comics?

We never had comic books. I had seen them but my parents didn't let us have them....which is funny now that I think about it. I wonder why we couldn't have them? hmmmmm......

What about reading the Sunday morning comics in the newspaper....we loved them and would fight over who got to read them first!

Yes as a kid the comics were the only reason I looked at the paper.

My parents would not buy them for us either, but my Grandmother used to give them to us, as well as books.
