oh yeah....I forgot about those.....

How about building snow sculptures.....we had them all over the yard. My favorite one was the one that I built one year of Snoopy on his doghouse. I put a red scarf and everything on him....it was great!

We have just got some more free to air stations which is good.

What is totem tennis? I don't think I know that....or maybe we called it something else.

What about the tv's with the rabbit ears?

We have some friend who used rabbit ears right up until the broadcasters went digital.

yes, the hanger, I still use a hanger sometimes on my little radio

did you ever have one of those Christmas cardboard fireplaces?

no but I have fond memories of the december christmas calanders that had the little flaps that you opened each day.
Totem tennis was a pole in the ground with a tennis ball on a string that you hit back and forth.

I loved Cracker Jacks.....my grandma always had boxes waiting for us everytime we saw her!! Loved digging in the box!!


What about the prizes that you could get in the cereal box? We would want only the cereal that had them....and then fight over them (since there were 6 of us kids!!)

I remember the Mad magazine, it was cool because my parents did not like it.

Do you remember watching the first moon landing on TV?

I was only 11 days old when that happened. I used to think (when I was little) that there were people coming and going from the moon all the time.

I was four so I remember watching it on TV. I also cut the pictures from the newspapers I think I still have them somewhere.

I still have mine on the top shelf of my closet.
