That depends on who you have as your teacher. For the teacher teaches and the student listens. This is why we have been told we are in need of no man to teach us. Plainly spoken in simple words. I believe that scripture is in 1st or 2nd John.

This sound like one sitting in a judges chair declaring what they say as truth.. I stand inside of Christ and He in me. Only one who can judge and it is not man. For men are mere creations running around trying to be who they really are not. When one sees who Christ really Is then they can stand and preach the Gospel. Until then it is like children running around too and fro saying your not this because I said so..

Grace is the very mercy and love of God. It is not found in a sacramental system but in God through Christ alone and sealed with the Holy Spirit. He is our helper and our power to stand and preach the Gospel of Christ. It is not in a system. That has been done away with and Now the very high Priest and the very Lamb that was slain who is now risen states it is finished and raises to the very right hand side of God.

You'll notice that I put "sacramental system" in quotes. I also disagree that it is a "system". However, many people refuse to gain an understanding of what it means that the church is "sacramental".

Your statement presumes that my Catholic brethren are condemning Protestants. In GT I've seen very little condemnation of Protestants but some condemnation of teachings that some Protestants present. The two are not the same. And it seems to me that in a debating forum one ought to expect that claims may be challenged.

St. Paul and St. Augustine were quite the Calvinists, John Calvin thought so. I'm thankful I do not have to deny historical facts like the crusades, indulgences, contradictions between authorities, and tyranny of Popes. Yeah, I don't have to deny the history in John Foxe's book of "Martyrs" either, or the terrible crimes against Christians like William Tyndale. I am sure many Catholics would love to erase history, but since it is so documented, all Catholics can do is try to "re-write" and soften the hard truths.

Prophesy is of God, divination is of man / Satan. Avoiding a number because it has a six in it is numerology and has nothing to do with the number of the beast's name in Revelation.
