I have always wanted to expand my long range firearms beyond my Sharps rifle but I didn’t want to dump $8000 on a Steyr Mannlicher and $12,000 on Zeiss glass if I don’t like it so I went budget.

O.K., So I have a Mossberg Patrol with Vortex Crossfire II and a Mossberg Patriot with a Vortex something, both in .308. When you say "long range" how long is long?

Same here at the moment and the weather is going to close down my long range plans real soon. Well, that and I am broke at the moment.
