The firmament in Psalm 19:1 is what we call second heaven.
You know it as outer space.
It is a containment area, populated by planets, moons, stars, etc.
The scary thing is, I thought it was seven immediately. For example, I'm thinking of a number right now between one and ten ... what is it?
You don't know it, but I do, and only I can enlighten my audience as to what it is: (seven).
No ... actually the word is "firmament."No. The word is hā·rā·qî·a from raqa,
The scary thing is, I thought it was seven immediately.
Seven is the number of completion in the Scriptures, and it just fit.
Show me "vault" in Genesis 1.But hey... English, King James, and dictionaries can all take a hike
To you, age is a product of the aging process -- nothing more.
But God can take this noun (age), and insert it into His creation.
From Adam Clarke's Commentary:And have it mean nothing.
It appears that God created every thing, not only perfect as it respects its nature, but also in a state of maturity, so that every vegetable production appeared at once in full growth; and this was necessary that man, when he came into being, might find every thing ready for his use.
From Adam Clarke's Commentary:
As do I.You failed to notice that even Clark specifies "maturity," not age.
Until you come up with something better, I'll just stick with what I got.
As do I.
It is maturity without history.
Mr. Clarke didn't name it -- I did.
If you have a better term than "embedded age," I'm all ears.
Uh-huh.Fiction.
Uh-huh.
Until you can do better than that, I'll stick with: embedded age.
Really?hey, you asked.
Until you realize that age is a measure of history, not maturity, you'll never find a more useful term.
I'll pass.
I've found a useful term -- you haven't.
What are you expecting to use this phenomenon for?You found a useful term for a useless phenomenon.
What are you expecting to use this phenomenon for?
Does everything have to have a use today?
It served its use.
You certainly cannot harness the power it ran on (Shekinah energy).
So what's your point?
