It takes Someone omnipotent to pull it off.
As I said earlier, it's not something that simply defies a force that is inherent in a system. It is logically impossible. It's like saying a piece of wood is 6 inches long, but when the length is measured, it only reaches the 2-inch line. This is not a paradox, it is a contradiction. It's 2 inches because that's the line it reaches, because that's how we define length. Even God cannot create such a piece of wood without making it change size whenever it's held up to a ruler. This isn't because God's powers are limited, but because it's a logical contradiction. He also can't create a rock so heavy he is unable to control it, for the same reason.

I define Embedded Age as: maturity without history.

I know you guys really want me to stick history in there somewhere, but it's not going to happen.
Your definition doesn't match your description. You say there's no history, but then you say (in the mannequin example) that the man created should have "a job, a wife, and kids." That's not maturity, that's history. He actually went out and did something rather than sitting around "maturing." Something other than aging occurred.
On Earth, we also find signs of history and not just aging. Pyramids, ancient villages, fossils, etc. aren't natural properties of aging rocks. Something had to actually happen; history.

I have a dog. He has feathers, wings, big eyes, and says "hoot hoot" all the time. He sleeps all day.

I know you guys want me to say I have an owl, but that's not happening.

You guys have a level of gullibility all your own, though.

You'll believe anything that has more evidence for it, than against it
You have a strange definition of "gullible."

--- like Pluto.
Pluto has little directly to do with evidence. It has more to do with definitions.

No, I call it 'stooping' when I can get someone to use his last trump card: getting him to admit he doesn't think it is real [or literal] in the first place.

The Bible? I've never believed it was 100% literal. How is that someone's "last trump card"?

I pity you, AV1611VET, and your constant need to feel superior...I shall pray for you.

It's a 'paradox'.
sorry no its a failure at understanding english and twisting words

Without even looking --- I can tell you it is definition #4.

And did you get that?

#4
so what? dictionaries don't define words, they list definitions that we use, most people except for you use the words to be synonyms

That means that there are three other definitions --- not just the one that you are using here.I could simplify it even more, if I have to.
too bad you fail to understand how everyone else uses age, you just define it any ol way you want.

I could use the only phrase that I think you guys truly understand: GOD DID IT.
i understand that you keep trying to make arguments but they all are just fluff that fails at answering anything.
you have to fall back to "god did it" its the only thing we can't defeat you on, because you shut your brain down after that.
everything else you say we can rip apart, but "god did it" is the last defense, rather like a force field you retreat to, so you remain undefeated in your own mind

Except when crossing the street, right AVET? Or when turining on a light switch, driving a car, cooking a meal, darning socks, taking a shower, etc., etc.
That's right ---

When applied to us, they have some merit; but when applied to God, they can take a hike.

Remember, these laws (Thermodynamics, Gravity, Logic, etc.) do not apply to God.

Then God cannot exist in this universe :)

Yes, He can --- it's called Transcendence.

You want a god who is outside of time and the universe to be doing causal things inside this universe. If that's the case then there would be evidence. so far there is none, so the conclusion is god is still an unsupported idea.

Indeed.. we are talking about us, and the moon, and the earth, etc. Not God. Everytime reality contradicts your dogmatic understanding of the universe, you throw God out and claim "He" says different, or you say such-and-such can "Take a Hike." It's nothing but a Cop-Out.

Well, I've asked for evidence that the moon was created ex nihilo; and I've gotten 16 pages of nihilo.

I'm going to go ahead, per my OP, and assume you guys cannot produce any.

The reason for this thread, is that I intend to QV people to this thread from now on, instead of my Apple Challenge thread.

In effect, it replaces my Apple Challenge.

What do you intend for this thread to prove? What I mean is, it's not proving anything, so you'll have to make something up. What is it going to be?
