    The Honorable Nancy Pelosi
    Office of the Democratic Leader
    H-204, US Capitol
    Washington, DC 20515

    To the Honorable Nancy Pelosi

For more than two years the American public has been told by Democratic leadership a wide ranging series of reasons why the President is unfit for his position. We have been told on national news shows, radio and a wide range of social media thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of times how the President is guilty of a wide range of offenses from emoluments, to tax evasion, to racist, and of course treason and obstruction.

Leadership under your watch has stated unequivocally that there is clear evidence of actions that call for impeachment. We have all been the recipients of this news daily, multiple times a day for almost three years. Special Counsel Mueller with 19 seasoned prosecutors, dozens of highly trained Special Agents and all the power of the Special Counsel's office just finished 22 months of investigation.

Our elected legislators and representatives seem solely focused on this one major project and getting precious little else accomplished. You hold a great office in this country, have the trust of millions of citizens and could be doing so much more to help us. In my opinion.

With the greatest respect, we need a voice of reason, one who will not be afraid to lead, one that will bring this great time of division to a conclusion. Madam speaker, it’s time as third in line to the presidency for you to lead, to move forward. Bring this overwhelming evidence and move towards impeachment. Please don’t play politics with our great nation - let the chips fall where they may.

Simply put - it’s time to stand behind your words and assertions. It seems that there are some playing politics with this whole subject and it is hurting us as a nation. It’s time to bring and end. Get back to doing the people's business. It’s what we voted for - it is what we need and it is your job to do it.

    Respectfully,

I do not support impeachment. I see it as a useless gesture so long as the Senate refuses to act on any evidence.

Much better to try and beat Trump at the ballot and if he wins, well.... there’s always a chance for impeachment in his second term.

Nancy is all that stands between Trump and impeachment. Why should she give up now? Strategically, as you well know, this would be about the worst time to try it.

Do you really believe the Dems would decline the opportunity to impeach the President if there truly were overwhelming legal evidence? Really?

Yes. Even overwhelming legal evidence would not prevail against Mitch and the gang.

For more than 2 years Donald Trump has provided a wide ranging series of reasons for why he is unfit for his position. Both Republicans & Democrats have acknowledged this repeatedly. Donald has steadfastly refused to honor his promise to deliver his tax returns, which if they are as he claims they'd be would help to exonerate him of some of those accusations. Instead he's gone to tremendous lengths to keep them concealed. Donald has repeated slurs in an effort to bully & demean elected officials, US citizens, that our government has identified as discriminatory & unacceptable. Hundreds of former federal prosecutors wrote their own letter stated that Donald deserved obstruction charges.

The Mueller investigation did not exonerate Donald. Under DOJ guidelines a sitting president cannot be charged, so Donald declaring victory on account of him not being charged is silly. Donald's longtime fixer & personal attorney, Cohen, is now sitting in prison on account of the illegal things he did to cover up for his boss. He pleaded guilty to lying to Congress about the duration of Trump's plan to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. Why did he lie? To cover up Donald's behind. He also committed campaign finance laws by covering up Donald's adultery with porn stars. In addition to Mueller's investigation leading to Cohen sitting in prison today, it also resulted in several other guilty pleas from folks in the highest level of service to Donald Trump. That includes his former campaign chairman & his ex-national security adviser.
In all, 34 people and three companies have been criminally charged as a result of the probe. The total cost of the investigation was $32 million, but the Manafort plea alone recovered $42 million.

Folks are rightfully frustrated with the Honorable Pelosi on account of how she's resisted impeachment of Trump, on account of him being fully deserving of it. The reason for her resistance is not out of his innocence. If Donald did precisely as he bragged he could & shot somebody in the middle of 5th Avenue, there'd still be Republicans in the Senate who'd refuse to move forward on impeachment. Donald would then declare that as a victory, lol. I do agree with you to an extent that she needs to do her job.

Donald's conduct constantly causes a distraction for all of our leaders, for our country. We have to expend energy dealing with him when we need to be focused on other issues of profound importance. I wish Pelosi could spend less time having to deal with him but then again she cannot just ignore his conduct. He's not a student in her class who keeps acting up, disrupting everybody, so she can't just treat him like one despite his behavior.

Well he's in his 70s, obese, bleaches his hair & brows an unnatural color, lies in a tanning bed for long enough to get that orange glow. I don't think he's got that long to live regardless as to how anybody feels about him.

I honestly think one of the reasons he's so hateful towards a certain group of young ladies who are elected officials is on account of jealousy of their youth in comparison to him. I suspect it burns him up that by the time AOC is old enough to even be eligible to run for president, he'll be several years beyond the median age of life expectancy for men in America. Sure there's plenty of folks who live well into their 80s, 90s, beyond, but they tend to be the ones who make the effort to take care of their bodies & mind.

tl;dr version: Get to work, Nancy.

Is this a call for impeachment? Your wish may come true.

But you need to send one to your Senators as well: convict the Donald!

You want "Madam speaker" to make a move that would put her closer in line to being president. That sounds pretty self serving to me.

I don’t think she cares much for that job.

She could have run for President at any time in the past 30 years she’s been in politics and probably would have faired much better in an election than Hillary ever could have. She’s already cemented her place as the highest elected female politician in American History so far, the only one to serve as Speaker of the House, not just once, but twice and as a representative, she can continue to influence American politics long after Trump is out of office and ineligible to run again.

 I think she'd pray not to be. Donald is old and probably not "the fittest president ever". VP Pence is not a spring chicken, either, although he looks healthy enough. If anything should happen to the two of them, she's It, at least, until 2020. Impeachment isn't about putting a Democrat in power - it never has been. That's just a Conspiracy Theory, much like the mistaken belief that Donald's election upset would result in the presidency of Clinton.
