    Hi

There is nothing inappropriate about what you wrote or said but rather that you are owed many apologies and should be thanked for your sacrifice, patience, and unconditional nature.

I think it is totally inappropriate and unfair to place unethical expectations, double standard’s, and unwanted pressure on any person or couple.

No one would volunteer or want that role as it would easily crush, subdue, and overwhelm a person’s self-esteem, relationships and family etc.

I think you are very brave and courageous to expose the abuse, pain, and suffering that can happen behind the scenes to couples and individuals involved in Ministry.

I also think it is hypocritical and offensive for the leadership to put on an act for the congregation and for the leadership and congregation to mistreat their staff.

Maybe the title should be changed to the inappropriate behaviour and conduct of the NT oversight and its believers.

I understand that you don’t want to make waves or rock the boat, but appropriate honest feedback to the oversight seems to be a solution to move on and avoid going through the same process each time.

Maybe consider just being part of another congregation and rebuilding your lives and asking God to provide for your needs while he guides and directs yous.

Being a Christian is hard enough, let alone being involved in Ministry and having to be subject to all that abuse and suffering.

I hope you find the peace and harmony you both deserve.

May God grant you wisdom and serenity in your journey as you get to know and become more like him.

    Peace

Thank you! I actually don't know if you saw my post regarding the recent abuse with the SBC. I took it down because I wanted to make sure that I hadn't said anything to be devices. After talking with a few friends and praying about it, I decided to put it back up. But thank you again for your kind words. I actually wrote another blog yesterday about motherhood.

    Hi

Yes, being a parent is a major sacrifice and its not easy learning the ropes or trying to develop routines and management systems to manage our children.

There is a lot of trail and error, but there is progression and evolvement over time.

Besides the children’s needs, there are also the day to day cares and general responsibilities that eventually get done or accommodated when there is time or a crisis.

But we do adapt as parents and try and fit all this into our lives as well as our personal relationships with Jesus and it is only by Gods grace do we barley make it lol.

But there is a light at the end of the tunnel and we do begin to adapt and manage our children and lives etc.

However, as you say their are challenger’s, issues, and problems we encounter along the way, and its not always easy, instant, or immediate to come up with answers solutions and positive role modelling responses to resolve these concerns.

It is always a learning, developing, and growing experience that helps us to overcome and make decisions we believe are in the family’s best interest.

However, as parent’s just like in all relationships the bucks stops with us, so we accept the rewards and consequences for those decisions until children/teens are 1 day able to be responsible for them selves.

That’s some of the trails and tribulations of parent hood and relationships

    Peace

    hi

i also read your latest blog on running out of time which the contents i completely agree with.

but i have many things to do so will comment later when i get time.

keep up the assertive work sister there must be many issues in the body of Christ that are ignored and need to be exposed and discussed among the members.

so they can be addressed reviewed and resolved.

our light must shine in darkness and our salt must provide flavour

    Peace

    Hi

In relation to the times up blog

I am unsure on why the oversight or follow believers would not intervene in personal matters or not address the issues you brought to their attention.

I can only say there is normally a higher administration above the oversight in place for each denomination structured to discuss complainant’s issues or problems that have been escalated or ignored.

I hope you are able to contact them and they are able to bring you closure and resolution to your concerns.

    Peace
