My Gravity Challenge

The whole point of this thread is that I submit that God can be shown to exist (as can gravity) by His effects.
Since God is invisible ...
Colossians 1:15a Who is the image of the invisible God,
... yet we see His effects everywhere:
Christian edifices, iconography, documentation, holidays, and martyrs.

By that poor logic, every god from every religion that has had any of these is real... including ones no one actually ever worshipped in works of fiction. Even if you demand all of these to be present, that would still make this "evidence" for many contradictory gods, by your logic. Every major religion and many minor religions have martyrs. There are very few without holidays or iconography. Any without documentation we generally don't know about, though there are a few known only by temples and the like.

Not that the reasoning is any good. Gravity is just the labeled name after the effect of matter being attracted to each other by a weak force. It's the observed phenomenon itself, not simply the cause of it. Additionally, gravity waves have been directly measured as of last year. Did you forget the attention that got on this very website?

When John the [fundamental independent] Baptist was put in prison and asked about Jesus, Jesus gave John's disciples a list of things to consider ...

Luke 7:22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.

So? Nothing here that separates Christianity from any other religion besides the specific proper names. You know what would be amazing? A religion that didn't have to spread via human efforts but actually independently came up in people's minds without discussion. An internal religion that preached silence and quiet worship alone. That most certainly would be interesting.

Not to mention the Ark of the Covenant, which if you touched it, you died.

What, in your opinion, killed Uzzah, if this Ark was just a cold, sterile, neutral, man-made object?

If Uzzah existed he may have died of anything, the bible is not a forensic report from Quincy ME, it's a record of legends and stories written down sometimes many years after the event. I mean seriously, do you really believe that the ark could kill people just by touching it?

An item like gravity (unseen power) can be correlated to the unseen Power of God in our midst that draws people to Jesus and God's Scriptures. An invisible Spiritual Power amongst us that teaches and sanctifies.

There are many who through ignorance and unbelief have hardened their heart and ears over time to God work in our midst, telling others God is not near. Similar to "gravity does not exist" in our midst.

Many are Ignorant to the Rivers of Living Water in our midst that they can partake of. Christianity is a relationship.
