Yes, and Bull Sharks can survive in both. And adaptation would of been already programmed by God. It is the Macro that is bunk.
If Noah's flood was a mixture of natural and supernatural (ie miraculous) events then we will never be able to fully explain it by assuming purely natural processes.
The flood itself, if world wide, may have transformed many regions geologically.
There is also much about the planet we don't know and if those articles posted that lots of water exists in the mantle then who knows, it may all just be possible largely as written.
According to (1) and (2), all the seas and oceans combined contain 1.36 billion km³ of water.
Taking the Mount Everest at 8 kilometers, and the Earth radius at 6371 km. So to cover the Earth with flood waters you need to fill a shell of water with the thickness of the Mount Everest.
The volume of the shell, is given by:
V= 4/3 * Pi* (R³-r³)
Filling in the numbers give a required volume of water of 4 083 570 535 km³. That's more than 4 billion km³ that you need to cover the earth, to the height of Mount Everest.
Explain where 4 billion km³ came from and where it went.
Explain why we didn't find it (yet).

so you take the flood for granted and attribute magical powers to this flood of raising mountains out of nothing. Silly me, I forgot that floodists play science with different rules, they change the laws of natures as seems fit or wipe moutains away with a handwave.I haven't read this thread, but you missed a very important part of the global flood, and that is those mountains didn't exist as they are now, the flood created them. They were mountains but the flood itself raised them much higher. This is why ocean-bottom sediments, full of marine fossils can be found on the highest mountains. Mt. Everest itself has clam fossils at its summit.
Mount Everest: 8848 meters -61 meters: that's still 8787 meters and 15 cubits to go.Then as for the water on the earth, some is frozen. Antarctica is covered with ice on average 2,133 meters thick. If all of the Antarctic ice melted, sea levels around the world would rise about 61 meters. The rest is in the oceans and below the surface of the earth.
Whatever has to have happened to make the Genesis stories literally true, that's what happened.so you take the flood for granted and attribute magical powers to this flood of raising mountains out of nothing. Nope, all the mountains were covered:
17 For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth. 18 The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water. 19 They rose greatly on the earth, and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered. 20 The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits.
Actually, has anyone an idea how mich a cubit is? For I just took the height of Mount Everest as shell to fill. It actually needs to be Everest+ 15 cubits.

Actually they have. Modern Earth science began in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, created by scientists (most of them clergymen) looking for evidence of the flood--which they couldn't find, much to their disappointment.Science (hydrologists) have never examined the flood story. Perhaps they should.

Help us to conclude that all or most of the Earth was covered by water in 2600 BC? How?They were likely looking for the 'traditional' flood; the one pictured by various artists over time. The flood story reveals the real flood. One can get a pretty good picture by observing large flood events today. Observing the daily tides is also helpful.
the mixing of fresh and slat water is dependent on the turbulence in a given area, the shape of the estuary and the strength of the current and/or tides. A collection of fresh water my remain marginal fresh for a brief time but that time would be measured in hours at best.We know salt water does not fall from the sky .... and the biblical account states water came from the heavens and also from the springs of the earth.
Where salt water comes from
Rain replenishes freshwater in rivers and streams, so they don’t taste salty. However, the water in the ocean collects all of the salt and minerals from all of the rivers that flow into it.
When fresh water and saltwater meet in an estuary, they do not always mix very readily. Because fresh water flowing into the estuary is less salty and less dense than water from the ocean, it often floats on top of the heavier seawater.
so ... since salt water is heavier than fresh water ... the ocean animals could have went deep (ie under the floating fresh water) ... on the flip side ... the fresh water fish could have been surviving near the top (floating fresh water)
Also there are fresh water springs in the ocean ... perhaps these areas when opened up by the flood were able to harbor some of the fresh water species as well.
Between the two ... survival of both .... certainly plausible and probable.

i wasn't around during WWII but it still happenedIn the clouds is key. Most likely it did not rain before the flood. The earth would of been like a big greenhouse. Water bubbled up as springs do today, so mist/fog, but maybe no rain clouds.
But all the things you list are just secular ways of explaining things-and only one theory, that unfortunately has taken root in the church. It brings in doubt upon the word of God and trust in the Scriptures.
We were not there, so who are you going to believe? The God of the Bible or modern man that didn't even invent the cars until about 100 tears ago. Evolution is a snow job by the evil one.
I would believe the God of the Bible, but not necessarily what you tell me the God of the Bible meant to say.In the clouds is key. Most likely it did not rain before the flood. seven speciesyes ... there are several species that can survive in both.
to bad Everest is a product of plat tectonicsI haven't read this thread, but you missed a very important part of the global flood, and that is those mountains didn't exist as they are now, the flood created them. Psalm 104:8
The mountains rose, the valleys sank down to the place that you appointed for them.
While the mountains rose higher the oceans got much deeper. The world was much more even pre flood.
We also know that part of the flood water was water from under the earth, it came up as 'fountains of the deep.' That water or some of it went back again, its under the surface.
Genesis 7:11
In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, on the seventeenth day of the second month—on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened.
Then as for the water on the earth, some is frozen. Antarctica is covered with ice on average 2,133 meters thick. If all of the Antarctic ice melted, sea levels around the world would rise about 61 meters. The rest is in the oceans and below the surface of the earth.
Any evidence of this or are you just making it up?You are the one wanting to argue over scripture. The part that says the mountains rose and the valleys sank is a key part in how high the water rose. The mountains rose because of volcanic eruptions. Mt Everest was not 8848 at the time of the flood.
which woudl have caused turbulence making the dispersion of fresh water go even fasterit rained (was refreshed) for 40 days and nights ... the entire globe was engulfed ... biblical account talks of winds as well.
