You did not "organize this knowledge" in the "form of testable explanations that makes predictions".
You just made your observation and you stopped.
Yes, scientific theories are based on facts. I also figure that scientific theories are the best we can do.
I understand your confusion, as you've set out to erect a motley straw man over the last several pages, obvious to the rest of us, that you're desperately attempting to find some justification for your beliefs. Unfortunately, we're not the fly in the ointment, as you suggest, but rather your argument is with your beliefs, and that deep down nagging voice in your brain that informs you that your beliefs don't comport with reality. I read a book several years back that reminds me of where you are. The title is Deep Survival, Who Lives & Dies, and Why, by Lawrence Gonzales. One of the hallmarks of those who survived disastrous situations, were people who had the ability to accept reality and the situation that they found themselves in. Belief in deities and superstitions did nothing to improve their chances of survival. I hope that you will, at some point in your journey, decide to accept things as they are. You won't be disappointed. What exactly are you replying too? I think you're little lost there..no pun intended.![]()
You're the one claiming that people have made such claims.
I'm asking you to demonstrate that claim by pointing to posts where this was said.
Can you? If you can't, what is the conclusion I should be drawing concerning that claim of yours?

Not even remotely. Your beliefs impair your judgement and rationale.
I accept theories as facts. What more need you know?
...sigh... your question.
I don't know, and neither do you. Maybe it's always existed, maybe we have a "universe from nothing." We may never know, and I'm okay with that.An answer to my original question, where do you think it all came from?
I never said there is no God. (part of your straw man, remeber)But that's ok, what's a bit more contrariness in the scheme of things here. You may pretend "theories" is an answer if you like, just thought you'd like to take a stand with what you believe, since I have, and especially since you say there is no God.
I don't know if it exists or not, and neither do you.
What are you even going on about? lolI see, you won't show me the question now, the one you clearly refereed to, until I called you on it. Because to show it now now, will show you truly did not address it..
All that waste of time just to hide that fact...amazing.
Ok. People reach satisfying beliefs all the time. It's why we have tens of thousands of religions and belief systems since recorded history. Millions of people making claims, and they all know they're right. Everyone emotionally satisfied.I'm satisfied he does,
Appealing to a bigger mystery to solve a mystery is intellectually dishonest and the opposite of logical.it's the only thing that makes any logical sense.
I'm not beholden to any system of belief... it's a non-starter for me. I accept what the current theories have observed. I don't have a compelling need to add a supernatural component to the mystery. It is what it is, and I'm at peace with this.I tried to get out of you what made logical sense for our beginnings but you wouldn't have it,
The best explanation is the most parsimonious one. I have no horse in this race, save what comports with objective, observed reality.so apparently you have no better explanation...what other conclusion can I draw.
