Second time: What adjective would you use to distinguish "no God" from "God"?

Be it evolution, letter-writing, macrame, tool-and-die working, welding, whatever?
How about "Non-religious" welding, etc.

So many unnecessary and awkward adjectives to choose from!
Gas Metal Arc Welding
Gas Tungsten Arc Welding
Shielded Metal Arc Welding
Flux Cored Arc Welding

English can be a drag, can't it?

As everyone knows, Tungsten is widely worship as a god. Primarily by passing a current through it.

The squishy Tungstenites have been backsliding as they replaced their home shrines with Mercury shrines, but worse, some have committed blasphemy by using currents passed through semiconductor diodes in their worship. Lux.

Yes.

Prolix: marked by or using an excess of words.

As in preferring to say "atheistic evolution," instead of just "evolution."

I could say "evolution."

I could say "atheistic evolution."

I could say "atheistic natural evolution."

I could say "atheistic natural progressive evolution."

I could say "atheistic natural progressive biological evolution."

God bless freedom of speech.
OK, I wondered because you called it 'a prolix', although prolix is an adjective...

Violating the Keep It Simple Stupid principle?

But if that's the case, I'd rather be considered "stupid" than "simple."
OK, can do.

IF ... you don't like the term "atheistic evolution," don't use it.

IF ... you do like the term "atheistic evolution," feel free to use it.

Better yet, just feel free to use whatever term you want to use, when you want to use it.

And I'll do the same.
And again. Its not a question of whether or not I like it.
I may like something. But that does not make any difference.
The fact that I neither like, nor dislike, the silly term you use, does not make your term any more, or less, silly.
The only issue is that it is silly

As silly as this one?

Use it and get the backlash.
I have a feeling only a handful arc & spark about it.

If you knew you were about to hear someone say it, would you put your fingers in your ears?

I have seen it used often enough and point out the error of it, just like Hans Blaster and essentialestes did.

Error was the most charitable qualification.
"Willful malicious manipulation" comes probably closer.
Funny.

I was thinking about the same thing re distancing evolution from cosmic evolution.

What do you mean "cosmic evolution"? Is it just another name for cosmology?

We separate biological evolution (or just "evolution") from "cosmic evolution" (or just physical cosmology) because the methods, etc. are completely different.

Oh, I forgot about this thing. It's one of your 59 minor obsessions.

This is some sort of pedagogic graphic showing how the history of the universe flows together, but...

It does not mean that science of (biological) evolution is dependent on the study of galactic structure formation or the formation of planets.
