Says the guy who won’t answer a question.

I think you have a need to protect your beliefs, and is scared to challenge your beliefs. I think you might not be theist after all.

Not at all, I don't need to protect what I know and believe, I could speak of things the whole world would have a hard time believing requiring huge leaps of faith, though I'm completely intent being alone in my belief as well.

How do you determine if your beliefs are true?

As I said, Find All In The Heart, as well with conformations spiritually and physically, and that is mostly not relying on my own understanding but by allowing God to work in my life to teach me on many levels, I have to believe in that, God is not going to believe for me.

So the Bible’s not literal. I’ve got no problem with that.
I believe the Bible is literal. I said that even if you do not believe the Bible is literal as a paradigm the Bible is still extremely accurate. Even non Bible Paradigm's in mythology still have their place and purpose. For example Astarte the Phoenician Fertility Goddess was Athtar in Arabic, Ishtar in Babylon & Assyrian, Aphrodite in Greek and Venus in Roman. Her counterpart in Greek of course is the war god Mars. So the concept of feminism or females taking on traditionally male roles goes back long before Venus and the Romans. All the way back to the Phoenicians. Even temple prostitutes goes back to the fertility goddess. Along with sacrificing their children on the alter which today we call abortion. So the story or Paradigm is the same if you look at the Phoenicians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Greeks, Romans or Hebrews.

So how do you determine who is correct when another theist has an opposing view of scripture? Could she just as easily claim to know the truth, just as you have?

Even the prophet from Crete was used for a purpose, as well as the first written words of the NT, the sign Palite had written and placed above the cross.

Yup, evilness will exploit many things to achieve one thing destruction and It doesn't really care about the instrument to achieve it.
I was just watching a program on TV about how ISIS tries to recruit boy and girls. If people want to fight wars there is not a lot I can do about it. I do not want to get involved in any of that. If they want to fight a war then they should use their missiles to take out the computer servers that the terrorist organizations use to recruit people. That is how they got Bin Laden, through his messenger. Even though he personally did not use telephones or computers. We need to fight the war on the information networks.

Pilate. Yes, God uses everything for his purpose. That is why there is no fence sitting or middle ground. You are in or out with God. For Him or against Him. So He know what people will do when they are placed in any situation.

Indeed and within what a person can comprehend and understand, along with the persons language achievements

If you say so.

And scientists are no exception.

What on erets gives you that idea?

You, of course... Your unabashed envy of people whose ideas don't get laughed at has been on display in almost all of your non-counting threads.

You're even polite enough to label them "scientists," regardless of what they actually do for a living.

But it shows that, at one time, most people did.

It also serves as cause-and-effect evidence of Jesus Christ.
But since Jesus was born somewhere between 4-6 BCE we can reasonably say that CE/BCE is just an arbitrary counting system that has no religious support :p

But since Jesus was born somewhere between 4-6 BCE ...
The year of Jesus' birth should be 1 AD.

But since scientists are so numb with stupidity, they can't adjust the calendar and still look intelligent.

Some would probably balk and do backflips.

Now the year of the Big Bang ... that's different.

Just say it was 13,772,000,000 years ago, give or take some 50,000,000 years.

But have to change 4 years for Jesus' birth!?

Out of the question!

The AD/BC calendar was developed by a monk. He got it wrong, but you have a problem with scientists letting that go? Would you prefer them to harp on about the stupidity of Christians who don't even know when the central character of their religion was born?
