Then why are we considered hypocrites for not doing so?Remember burning witches and owning slaves? Yep, faith is a helluva’ thing.
You didn’t answer my question.
I’ll ask again. Is not collecting stamps a hobby?Ok I will proceed, the collecting of stamps is a hobby like playing the guitar, surfing, etc. it is something people do in their spare time away from work for personal enjoyment though some do hobbies for work as well.
So in what I said is being a athiest just merely a personal enjoyment or something else?
I’ll ask again. Is not collecting stamps a hobby?
I'm sure there are; but the two you gave are indicative of the way educatees think today.I’m sure there’s more reasons than this for calling you a hypocrite.
No, I don’t believe in Stamps.
Nice try.No, I don’t believe in Stamps.
He capitalized "stamps."You are humorous, I believe you do believe people do collect them in that you have faith that people collect the stamps for a hobby.
Nice try.
Lol
Is faith in those who collect stamps equivalent to faith in a god?
Sure. But what do you call someone who doesn’t collect stamps?
I don’t believe in god/s.A person who collects stamps, is having faith that one day the stamp will be worth more for they can not know what it will be worth in the future,
one thing I see you are misunderstanding with your anology of stamp collecting is this,
having faith in God is not about collecting God and one day God will be worth more,
the collecting of stamps is a poor example of faith you are using anyways for it is a hope that that stamp will be worth more one day, that is mostly why folks collect them.
Or maybe not such a bad example, for having faith in God is about believing God will deliver on His promise that if you believe upon Him you will get your reward for your faith in the amount of Enternal Life.
