How does that make the story clearer? If it is wrong to offer one's son up as a sacrifice to God, why is it write to offer Jesus as a sacrifice to God? Wouldn't God be able to forgive us even if people had not killed Jesus?
Satan knew the TRUTH from the beginning. And he distorted the truth even before the fullness of time had come.

GOD's TRUTH was before all things. THE PROMISED SON was promised from the beginning

We who know THE TRUTH see all these things in light of the knowledge of THE SON of GOD

You are still under deception and think you are somehow holding to a higher morality when in truth all you are doing is rejecting the TRUTH not fully understanding and you, in error, attribute to GOD evil

It is not GOD's error but men's error in judgement

It should not be attributed to GOD

All it should be attributed to is Lack of knowledge of THE TRUTH because some men have not come to the TRUTH of GOD

Jesus is God. Then again you already knew that.

I'm not concerned. TRUTH is TRUTH. And TRUTH will remain THE TRUTH

Again, it's a story designed to teach. Nobody was hurt and all involved learned something. Gd never speaks again to Abraham - draw your own conclusion, here. Abraham, Issac and all that followed learned that human sacrifice is a no no and obedience has limits. To apply this to modern day courtroom is silly.

GOD already said to those who allowed their children to pass through the fire that HE NEVER COMMANDED THIS NOR DID IT EVER ENTER HIS MIND.

You'll find this in judges or Jeremiah. I can't remember where

Google it

Wouldn't you be bummed if you think you hear God telling you to sacrifice your son, so you kill him, and then find out you had been conned?

In Abrahams case he didn't think he heard God but knew that he heard God.

You act as if this is the only time God talked to Abraham.

Do you not know that the wages of sin is death?
Either you can receive the wages or have Christ receive them in your place.

Sorry, I don't see that in the story.

This may help:

• “Take your son, your only son, Isaac” (v. 2); “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son…” (John 3:16).

• “Go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there…” (v. 2); it is believed that this area is where the city of Jerusalem was built many years later, where Jesus was crucified outside its city walls (Hebrews 13:12).

• “Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering” (v. 2); “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3).

• “Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Isaac” (v. 6); Jesus, “carrying his own cross. . .” (John 19:17).

• “But where is the lamb for the burnt offering?” (v. 7); John said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29).

• Isaac, the son, acted in obedience to his father in becoming the sacrifice (v. 9); Jesus prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will” (Matthew 26:39).

• Resurrection – Isaac (figuratively) and Jesus in reality: “By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had received the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, even though God had said to him, ‘It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.’ Abraham reasoned that God could raise the dead, and figuratively speaking, he did receive Isaac back from death” (Hebrews 11:17–19); Jesus “was buried, and . . . was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:4).

Got questions.

Again, not in the story of Abraham. Whatever later speculations are just that, speculations.

So does mine. Are you trying to say I don't because I understand what was written about Abraham and you don't?
I'm saying you're required to murder your son if your capricious god requests you do do so. I can tell tell him to go pound sand.

Exactly. But again THE TRUTH is THE TRUTH and THE TRUTH eventually will be made known to all men who speculate

Is that what you are saying? And will any who have heard the VOICE of the Son of GOD listen to you?

No they won't
They listen to the VOICE of THE SHEPHERD only

And HE clearly commanded not to uproot anything before the time

were not allowed to put a hand to the harvest as we are not THE LORD of THE HARVEST.

While it is still seed...time....and harvest it is still the year of GOD's FAVOR and we have a part in only THAT MINISTRY

Anyone who goes above that ministry is actually identified in 2 John

My boss is able to change my wages. Why couldn't an all powerful God also change the wages he pays? Who is forcing God to pay for sin with the wages of death?

One would think that an Almighty God could forgive, even if people didn't kill his Son. Why is it that God cannot forgive unless somebody kills his Son?
