“Well, you seem to know a lot about the situation,” the officer said. “Which means you’re either making it all up, you really are involved, or you were somehow closer than other witnesses. I think we’d better take you into the station to find out what’s going on.” Drew grew mad at the attitude and complete incompetence of this cop, but at least he was being taken to the station where maybe he could do something to help.

Hope sighed and put her face in her hands. There was no point in trying to lighten the mood. They just had to all handle it as best they could and hope for the best when the FBI arrived. She wondered if they would have agents who knew them come in or just some random FBI agents who they’d never met before. She wished that the agents training them never had to find out about this, but she also hoped that it would be agents they knew because they would understand better.
"I'm sorry about this, it's my fault really. If anyone gets in trouble, it should just be me." She couldn’t help feeling it was all her fault. The gang had told her to stay on campus but she not only ignored their warnings but got others involved as well. She started trying to come up with what she was going to say to the agents when she saw Drew and Riabhca come in ((if you don’t want Riabhca to have been brought in I can change that)). She recognized Drew but not the girl. The cops escorted them into a side room. They must be questioning them or something since neither one of them were involved in the fight.
A couple hours later Hope could hear some men talking but couldn’t see them.
“Of course they showed us FBI badges, that’s why we called you. But we couldn’t be sure they were real, you have to understand that. With the things these mutants can do nowadays, we can’t be sure of much of anything.”
“Just tell us what happened and show us who you have locked up here.”
“Well, we’re still trying to figure out exactly what happened. We have several witnesses but their stories don’t all match up. You know how the public is, they see any kind of mutant activities and their imaginations go wild. There’s no telling who’s telling the truth or not.”
“Alright, that’s enough! If you aren’t capable of determining what happened, turn all the detainees over to us and we’ll sort out the details ourselves. Since it is a matter of mutant involvement it is beyond your jurisdiction anyway.”

Peta looked up from where she was sitting in the jail cell, she could hear voices in the other room talking about them. She hoped they would be let go soon, the headache she had been fighting for the past few hours was getting worse.

Vanorah huddled close to Peta, trying to get control of herself. This was no way for a prospective Agent to act. Telling herself firmly, 'Get ahold of yourself! Someone will come get us out, nothing's going to happen.' She did manage to smile up Peta and the other girl, though it was a rather wobbly smile. She'd drawn her legs up as well and her current position closely resembled a fetal posture.
Hearing voices in the next room talking about them Vanorah glanced up, eyes sparking with hope of release. Softly, voice trembling "Do you think that's someone to let us go?"

"Who knows whats going to happen. " Kyler said with a sigh, he was tired of all this.
Within a few moments a whole group of FBI agents and cops walked into the room. "We're terribly sorry for the inconvenence." On of them said as they opened the cell door. Kyler found it almost funny how all the FBI agents seemed ticked off and the cops all seemed real sorry. "We can assure you this mistake will not be made again. " One of the agents told them. "We just ask that you fill out some staetements, and we'll transport you back to the academy immediately. " he said firmly.
"Finally" Kyler blurted out, Not meaning to actually say it out loud. He got embarrased and began going invisable.

Peta squeezed Vanorah's hand as the younger girl gave her a smile, she was as scared as Vanorah was right now. She looked up as she heard the voices getting closer to the jail cell. The jail door was opened by one of the cops, Peta breathed a sigh of relief when she saw the FBI agents behind the cops.

Riabhca was sitting in the side room where she and Drew had been brought for questioning. She wasn't terribly worried about the others simply because she knew the cops didn't want to get in trouble with the FBI and someone would call them, if for no other reason than to verify the stories being given them. That in turn would prompt the FBI to send people over here to invesigate. Riabhca wasn't sure if it would be someone from the Academy but any Agent would be better than the police.
So while they cooled their heels in the interegation room she amused herself by taking thermal readings of her surroundings. This allowed her to see the FBI coming, even through walls, before they actually got there. Knowing that it might be taken as hostile to leave her seat before being told they were free to go Riabhca remained seated, calmly waiting to see how this would play out.

Vanorah relaxed somewhat as Peta squeezed her hand. With a great effort she pulled herself together. Though it was a very shaky foundation and anything startling could easily knock her off and back down into panic.
Staring at the people who'd just entered she somehow gathered enough nerve to speak up, "D-do we get t-to leave now? P-please!!"

Hope felt relief as the doors were opened for them but also she was anxious as to what was in store for them. She didn't know exactly what the FBI agents knew of the situation or if they would be upset at them for getting into a mess like this.
She went up to one of the agents trying to speak to him as privately as possible with so many people around. "All of this is my fault," she said barely above a whisper. "The gang told me to stay on campus but I didn't listen and we all went out. I should have made everyone stay on campus."
The agent put a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry," he said with a reassuring smile. "We got a call from your friend, Connor, before we even got the call from the local precinct here. Seems he slipped away and had enough sense to call us from the academy and explain what happened. Now we don't condone evading arrest, under the circumstances we won't worry about it this time. We'll get more details when everyone gets back to the academy and is more comfortable. We'll work out what we can do to make sure something like this doesn't happen again."
After taking care of paperwork and such, the stepped outside. Right away Hope noticed the FBI vehicles. The ride back was going to be much better than the ride here. The all black vehicles just seemed to scream importance and authority.

They took the police officers who were in the room to the side and talked to them quietly. Then they motioned for Drew and Riabhca to follow them and they joined up with the rest of the students.

As they walked out of the police station into the fresh air, Peta took in a deep breath of freedom. She was very happy to finally be outside where she was not caged. Peta took Vanorah's hand as they walked to the vehicle.

Kyler followed the agents out to the black cars. He like those around him was extremily releaved to be in good hands yet again. He sighed a sigh of releif ashe sat in the back seat on his way back to the academy.

The next day, back at the academy, Kyler woke up in his comfy cozy bed. The entire day yesterdat was so tiring and stressful, He didn't even realize how late he had slept. It was a good thing that classes didn't restart until tomorrow. It was alreay 10:30, and he hoped they were still serving breakfast. Kyler threw on a pair on jeans and a tee shirt and started rushing down the stairs.

Jason sat in the car, his abdomin still all bandaged up. He hadn't gotten much sleep last night in the hospitol, considering he wasn't quite sure what his future held, but now of course things were different.

Peta was glad to see Jason in the car, she prayed that he would be feeling better at some point. She looked around hoping to see Sammie was there with them. Peta then checked to see how Vanorah was doing.

Sammy sat in the car beside Jason. Once she had woken up and freaked out, one of the nurses had rushed in with an FBI agent and explained to her where she was. Now, she was headed back to with the FBI. Her back itched terrible from all the stitches, but she used every ounce of self control to keep from scratching it. There was an awkward silence in the car, but she didn't know what to say to Jason.

Shortly upon arriving at the agency, Connor was informed that an annonimous tippster had already sent the FBI to retrieve thier agents. Connor asked what he could do to help, but he was unneeded. He sat down on one of the couches and waited for his fellow agents to get back.

Connor woke up early the next morning and went downstairs to get some breakfast. He had n't eaten anything since the icecream shop, and figured none of the others had either. He hurried downstairs to ee how the others were."

She had been instructed not to get out of bed for a couple of day, but he was never one to listen to authority. Besides, she felt perfectly fine. She got up and walked down the hallway, wondering if Jason had been brought back here or sent back to prison, She had fallen asleep in the car and woke up in bed.
