"I'm glad to see you guys are all ok.."
Sammy glanced over at Connor. She wondered if he had told the others about how she freaked out and lost control of her powers. What would the agency do to her if they knew?? as far as they were conserned, she still couldn't activate her powers...

Connor shrugged his shoulders.
"Unfortunately, I missed out on the whole jail experience. I left to get help, but it turned out they didn't need me. I should have just stayed and made sure the others were ok..."

((*sigh* I hate being so inactive on this. Give me a couple of weeks until finals are over and then I'll have much more time to be active on here. I think I'm going to plan on having Agent Camari announce that he needs some volunteers to work extra outside of regular classes to sort of focus on keeping the area secure from this gang. Then the game will sorta focus on that (think something along the lines of Dumbledore's army 
). So if you guys want to think about how that might work and give me some feedback on what you think, that would be great.))

Agent Cameri walked into the cafeteria. There were a lot of conversations going on throughout the room and he wondered how many were about the events of the previous day. Even though not all the students were back from their first weekend trips, he had to deal with the situation now before the rumors became too big. Any students coming in later he would have to talk to on an individual basis.
“Can I have everyone’s attention,” he called out in a loud voice that was the reason why he had been chosen for this task in the first place.
“I know many of you know about what happened yesterday whether you were there or not. However, for those of you who don’t know or have questions, let me explain. A group of our students went out for ice cream yesterday and they were attacked by a local gang. When choosing this site for the school, we believed the area to be free of mutant gang activity. However, nowadays it is almost impossible to find such a place. Unfortunately this means that until you have all developed your powers to a quite advanced level, the area outside of school ground will be a dangerous place. Do not walk outside of school grounds alone and be careful even within school grounds. The FBI is doing what we can to control this problem, but we don’t know much about this gang and even the smaller mutant gangs have been difficult to deal with.”
Agent Cameri took a deep breath. He wasn’t sure how this next part would go over. “In light of this recent event, several other agents and I have decided that it would be a good idea to set up a special group of students who would be willing to put in some extra work to advance their powers more quickly. This will require students to attend additional classes in what is now their free time and they still must keep up on all their work in the other classes. They will be asked to take on additional duties as well that will involve providing additional security for the school and fellow school mates against this specific gang. If you think you would be interested in being a part of this group, come by my office and we’ll talk about it. You can come individually or in groups. Thank you everyone.” He then turned and walked back to his office.

"I don't know about you guys, but after seeing first hand the damage mutant gangs can cause, I want to train as hard as I can to defeat them. The need to be stopped, and sitting around doing minimal training won't stop them."

Peta listened as Agent Camaris talked about what had happened over the weekend at the ice cream shop. When he mentioned about wanting some students that were willing to take extra classes to advance there powers faster, she perked up and thought to her self, maybe this is something to do. Tayanita got up and took her tray to the wash line and headed out to Agent Camaris's office. Upon her arrival she knocked on the door.

Hope looked at the food she had just gotten. She was still in line when Cameri made his announcement. She wanted to go talk to him right away but didn't think it was right to waste all the food she had just gotten. So she hurried over and grabbed a seat near Sammy and some other who had been in the fight.
"Hey, are you guys going to sign up to be in that group? I know I am. I still feel like it was my fault we got into that trouble in the first place and I want to do something about it. They won't get off so easy the next time we run into them." She then quickly threw mouthfuls of food into her mouth chewing and swallowing as quickly as possible.

He figured there would be some who were excited about this offer and others who didn't want anything to do with it. He just hoped that everyone who was signing up for this was doing it for the right reason.

Sammy looked over at Connor. "How about you?? You gonna sign up?"
Connor shook his head and looked away.
"I... there's so much at stake. Our lives were on the line yesterday. I came here for the money, and to defend my family. If they decide I'm worth paying extra to train harder, then fine. But I didn't come here to volunteer my livelyhood away. I'm sorry if that disappoints you."
With trhat, he stood up and walked away, refusing to look back at their faces.

((sorry, I haven't really been on, I have a lot going on with school right now))
Caitlyn stared after Connor in shock as he walked off. He doesn't want to??? there was no question as to whether or not she was signing up. Yesterday had been the most exciting day of her life. The only thing wrong with it was the fact that
we didn't have permission and got taken to jail afterwards. fortunately briefly.
"I'm in. yesterday was great, but we didn't win. Next time we'll do better. they won't even know what hit them."

"I hope we didn't upset him," Hope said watching Connor walk off. "It is a completely volunteer thing and it's okay that he doesn't want to. It's just that I'm so excited about the chance. I'm here to make a difference, I think this is my chance. I'm glad you guys are excited about it too."

Peta opened the door at Cameri's call and walked in closing the door behind her as she entered. She took a seat in front of his desk, crossing her feet under her. "Sir, I am here to volunteer for further training that you spoke about in the cafeteria" she spoke calmly, "I feel I was sent here to fulfill a purpose in my life".
