((Hope just tripped over Komodo, who Caitlyn had just finished knocking down. they're where Scarlet was when Jason attacked her. I think at last post Constantine was still flying))

((Ya, Constantine is still airborne but not for much longer I think. Sorry for not posting in awhile, exams week. It's nearly over though, then I'm back to posting as usual. Now would also probably be a good time for someone to notice Vanorah standing on the street corner.))
Constantine had decided it wasn't worth it to waste energy on the little flying pest and so had preceeded to ignore her. He had however been watching the ground fight closely, looking for an opening. Right now though he didn't like how things seemed to be going.
Finally making up his mind as to who was the bigger threat he called up his light spheres again, both blazing with blood-red energy.
He could feel his strength running out though, with both the drain caused by using his light abilities so much on top of what was required to remain airborne. This would probably be his final shot, if the didn't take them out this time it would be time for a tactical retreat.
Gathering everything he had for one last shot he drew his hands, and subsequently the spheres, together creating one very large orb. Once that was finished he sent an enourmous lazer bolt, bigger than any other, directly for the traitor Flame and the ghost boy next to him.

Peta flew past Mark into the dark shadow that he had thrown up around her. She flew into a nearby wall falling to the ground. She lay there for a few minutes trying to catch her breath and her bearings.

Mark dropped the shadow as his flying assailant crashed into the wall. he set up a shadow near everyone else and stepped across, letting it dissolve as soon as he was in it. Scar was out of the fight, Komodo was down, and he thought by now some people ought to be getting tired. he wasn't really, but then, he hadn't done much this fight.

((For some reason my computer is stuck in November. It won't let me see the December posts unless I put a new post... wierd... and If Komodo switches to the good guys, can Sam turn to the gang??))
Aiden pulled the metal blades back into his hands, turning his body into metal, when suddenly he was hit from behind. A reverberating clang echoed from the pipe, and an angered yell escaped Aiden's lips. He turned and saw his assailant, a pouny, terrified looking wimp of a boy. Aiden smirked.
"So... I guess the FBI hasn't taught you all that well hasit?? Lesson number one, don't wound what you can't kill!!"
He immediatly jumped ito the air and turned into a spike again, jetting towards the boy. Once he had gotten closer, her transformed back into himslef, arms out ready to tackle him into the brick wall behind him. However, he flew right through the kid and had only a second to wonder why before he slammed face first into the brick wall, collapsing into a heap only feet away from Scarlet's limp form.

Komodo rolled in the direction away from his opponent as he got to his feet. He had just enough time to glance around and see that too many of his comrades were losing or laying on the ground unconscious. Scar had been wrong about these students, and with Flame fighting on their side they didn't have a chance when they were fighting as disorganized as they were. He had never wanted to fight anyway. And why was Flame fighting on their side? Was he actually one of them? Why would the FBI hire someone like him, who used to be in their gang? Komodo knew he'd never luck into such a deal. Maybe if he could talk to Flame sometime, but not now. Things were too out of control.
He stood up and faced his opponent, but then quickly turned and started walking away. He was ready to fight back if she attacked from behind but he hoped she was as ready to just drop the whole thing as she was.

Hope looked up from where she lay on the ground. She still wasn't sure how she ended up there, but she just wanted to get out of here. She looked at Caitlyn who was near her, at least it was a friend and not an enemy who was nearest her.

Peta sat up slowly checking herself for any injuries, she knew that later she would feel very sore and bruised. The shadow had passed as quickly as it had came and so had the boy that came along with it. She got up from the ground and leaned against the wall of the building for a few minutes. While standing there she pondered going back to the area; where she had left the rest of the group. Peta started slowly walking back to the ice cream shop.

Caitlyn's first impulse when the boy got up was to knock him down again, but he didn't seem to want to fight anymore, so she controlled herself. she took a few deep breaths to try to suppress her adrenaline, then looked down at Hope and offered her hand. "need help up?"

Kyler was filled with fear as Aiden turned to face him. Maybe Flame wasn't so great at planning. Before Kyler even had the chance to open his mouth, Aiden was rushing at him. Kyler could only stand their in fear, nut as the fear filled him, his body became ghostly, and Aiden flew right through him, bringing his own end. Kyler turned around and smiled at Aiden's unconcious body. Then a sudden flash of light transended from above and all passed right through Kyler. Kyler wasn't sure what it was, and turned to Flame with a confused look on his face.
Jason stood up slowly, holding his stomach, where Aiden's blade had peirced him. Jason had had worse before and this was something he could Handle. He began to walk toward Kyler, who had just taked out Aiden, when an unsuspecting laser bolt from above struck Jason sending him back down to the ground fast. The impact alone sent Jason's head spinning. The laser had struck Jason in the shoulder. Thankfully, the laser was unable to burn theough Jason's flesh thanks to his inflamability( I'm pretty sure i made that word up). Jason remaind on the floor, unable to get up.
Kyler was shocked by the second laser bolt from the sky, He imediately rushed to Flame's side to help him up. He offered him a hand. Jason lifted his head up, dizzied from the impact. He could barely see Kyler's hand reaching out to aid him. Jason attempted to grabb the hand, but his hand went right through it.
"Sorry." Kyler said sheepishly. Jason reached for his hand agina and this time grasped it firmly. Kyler helped him to his feet, and Jason stood onto his own two feet. "This is not a good day for me. " Jason said looking to the sky to see Constintine fading inot the distance. "What i would give for your powers right now." Jason said looking to Kyler. "They're not that great." Kyler mumbled.
"LEts see how everyone else is doing." Jason said limping forward. As Jason walked further his limp turned inot a stride than a run. He was running on pure adrenaline and he could only hope that would keep him going.

Slowly Peta made her way back to the ice cream shop. She could see a couple light flashes in the sky then the flashes stopped. Peta was very tired and did not know if she had the strength to tackle another battle. As she rounded the corner of the building, her eyes behold the sight of others feeling the same way she did.

Constantine stuck around long enough to see his first shot pass right through the ghostly fella. He snarled slightly at that but was quite pleased to see how much of an impact his second blast had on Flame.
He was mildly disappointed that he hadn't been able to inflict greater damage but reasoned that he'd very likely have another chance at some later date.
Feeling his energy quickly running out he decided now was the time to get outta there. So banking smoothly Constantine beat a retreat for the gangs hideout.

Now, with the fighting seemingly over she gathered her fragile courage and stepped out into the street. Vanorah had seen the one girl go chasing after the couple that had run off and, when she saw her come back around the corner, decided to try and approach her first.
Timidly she made her way in Peta's direction, not really sure what to say or do, just wanting to finally meet someone who had powers like her.

Jason and Kyler kept on running, not really sure where the others were. Jason saw Caitlyn and hope in the distance and The two ran up to them. "Hey Cat, hows it goin?" Jason said in a sarcastis tone, hidding his injuries from the girls. "Are you guys alright? " Kyler added with concern.

Scarlet slowly woke up and held her head in her hands. She slowly stood to her feet. The situation had turned against them. There was no choice but to retreat, so Scarlet started for a dash back to the hide out.

Peta leaned up against the building to rest for a few minutes before trying to make her way back to the school. As she looked around it seemed like everyone had scattered in different direction. Most of the gang members had left the area and had disappeared. A movement from the opposite end of the street caught her eye, Peta quickly pulled herself together in case it was a foe, but relaxed quickly after sensing a warm energy in the person. This was not the first time she had been able to sense good from evil. This power had came stronger due to her vision, not always being the best at times. Her hands trembled as she stood there, she wrapped her arms around herself trying to soothe the pain in her body. As girl with bluish-black hair approached her, she sensed the warm energy get closer. Peta looked up at the girl and gave her a weak smile, Hi, my name is Peta, she said Are u from the FBI academy too? Do you happen to know how to get back there?

Caitlyn looked up as the guys approached. "Hey Cat, how's it goin'?" followed before she could answer by Kyler's "are you guys all right?"rockerchic said:

Jason thought about that question for a moment. He could answer truthfully, but that wasn't like him. So instead he said
"Cause the FBI pays better." He responded sarcastically. So you ladies wanna gather the troups and head back to the academy. I'd rather not stick around. " Jason was worried that if the FBI found out he had snuck out, the would send him back to prison. So he kind wanted to pretend he had never left.
