((I'm going to be leaving Friday for Glacier National Park. I'm pretty busy packing so I don't know how much I'll be able to get on in the next few days. So my chars can become NPC for about week...))

Lluvia stood back confused at Zalx's behavior and how Jason seemed to understand what was going on. Fury? Fighting dogs? Cutting off animals' ears and tails? She was lost. And Conrad. Who WAS Conrad? "Flame, what is Zalx talking about? Why would they want his dog to fight?"

Katherine was wandering around, staring up at the trees in search of a bird or squirrel. When Luna walked over to her, she didn't even notice her until she came within about five feet of her. She jumped slightly and looked up at her with surprise in her eyes. "Oh, hello," she said, not sure what to say, as the girl seemed to be hiding under her hood. Lenny stretched out towards the girl, sniffing the air curiously. Katherine looked down at him and smiled a little, though holding him so that he couldn't jump on her. "Um..." she said, unsure of how to introduce herself, so she just stuck out her hand, "I'm Katherine...and...this is Lenny, my ferret.. I hope you don't mind him..he's a bit smelly, but quite friendly..." She gave a weak smile, hoping the girl wouldn't freak out like Flame had earlier.

Luna was scaring herself out of her wits. Why had she walked towards this girl? Luna wanted a friend. Yes, that was it, she was tired of being lonely. And this girl was... friendly, and nervous, like Luna was. She didn't know how she had known, but the thought made her feel a little better. Luna smiled back at the Katherine. It was a genuine smile, which she rarely gave, and she didn't know how pretty it made her look. "Hi." Luna answered. Her voice sounded strange to her. Usually she answered everyone gruffly and coldly, but she didn't want to be gruff and cold if she wanted Katherine as a friend, did she? Luna shook Katherine's hand quickly, still quite nervous about this whole thing. "I'm Luna." She extended her hand so Lenny could sniff it. She had always liked animals, but had never owned one. "I don't mind." Luna waited for Katherine to say something, she had never been a good conversationalist anyway.

"Conrad is a... Rivel of mine. He is big into dogfighting. He.... He had a mutant help him mix adreniline, a pinch of testosterone, and Rabies into a blood born virus. Fury, is the street nickname. This virus, does not pass on, and does not every kill the dog. The dog basiclly becomes enraged for as long as it lives, until the natural day it dies. Basiclly, only Conrad and his circle have the stuff, and can lower the cost of dogfighting. Such as, now they don't have to get a puppy or kitten to make the dog attack and feel blood, now they just release it into a ring, and the dogs don't stop. They will attack anyone, and anything that moves. Conrad uses this on as many pitbulls as he can find, like mine." Zalx's expression hardened.
He remembered when his parents had made Zalx made that conkoction. It took him 4 days to change the rabies to blood based. They extracted most of his blood, but Zalx could survive.
They took most of it to a storeage area, and some to a meth lab, where it was.... basiclly copied. It was less efective, but still worth it.
All you had to do was add some of the fury blood with normal blood for just a few hours and its ready to be shot into a dog.
Then Zalx said, "Yeah sorry about that, but Bridget was my dog since I was 15, and I thought she was safe. Its... No big deal or anything."
But inside, Zalx had changed. He now had a Oath, to kill conrad, the one way he knew best.

"Oh ok, good!" Katherine said, smiling. Lenny was sniffing Luna's hand, then he nuzzled it a little, showing that he liked her. "Um..." she said, not sure what to say,"I was just trying to practice my powers a bit...I mean, I guess we're supposed to be practicing...I'm just not sure how to go about using mine....I know I can control some things that Lenny does, but I'm not sure if I can get it to work with animals that don't know me...so I was just looking for a squirrel or bird or something to test it..." She looked over towards a tree, seeing a squirrel scuttling up the trunk. She hoped that Luna would have something to say; she had no idea what else to talk about.

((I'll be gone this weekend, too. I'll get on once a day to check Rp's and stuff, but not any more than that. ))

Sammy smiled. She wanted someone who would practice with her, but she could tell Drew needed a friend.

"Ok!" she smiled. "Where do you think is a good spot??"

Drew shrugged. He hadn't had a chance to check this place out so he didn't know what all was here.

"Well, your power deals with electricity right? So I guess we need to go somewhere that has that. I haven't gone on any kind of tour, so I don't know what places are around here. I wonder if they have an interrogation room, you know the kind with those big lamps."

Luna stuffed her hands back into her jacket pockets. "So you can make animals do what you want?" She asked. That seemed like a cool power. Luna supposedly could tell how people felt, "empathy", according to her badge. How could that be useful? And then she had her cat ears that seemed to pick the WORST possible moments to appear. Yes, they made her hearing better, but they made her look like one of those goth anime cat people. At least Katherine had a power that wasn't so obvious and actually kind of useful.

"If your alright, i'm gonna head outside to practice, so that i don't burn anything down. See ya around." Jason went outside . he remebered seeing on the tour a pool, a tennis court, and a basketball court right next to it. He walked down to the tennis court, but there were already people there. Ther were also some people standing by a tree not too far away. The basket ball court, however, was empty. Jason made his wat to the center of the court. Fisrt he just started out with some easy things that he had aced long long ago. Then he thought he might as well try something a little more complex. For months Jason had been trying to learn how to make a wall of fire. Jason drew the line of fire on the pavement. then he slowly lifted his hands to riase thhe fire. At first it was going well, but then it started to happen agian. Jason was out of breath, he tried to breath but he couldn't. Jason vision got blurry adn ehstarted to feel dizy. Jason didn't know it yet, but all of the oxygen was coming out of his body to feed the fire. Jason always felt out of breath when he used his powers, but he didn't know why. Soon there was no oxygen left in jason's entire body. the flame died out and Jason fell to the floor, unconcious and unable to breathe.

"Well - yes, I suppose you could put it that way...but it works with humans too, sometimes... I was just thinking on testing it with animals first and getting to where I was really good before I tried it on humans...plus I don't think anyone would appreciate my using them for practice," she said, smiling a little. "Um..." she continued, showing Luna her tag, "I'm also supposed to be telepathic..but...that's rarely even showed up...like sometimes I know things that people are thinking if they're experiencing strong emotions...or like when my dad fell and he was outside, but I was inside, I knew he was in pain... but sometimes my powers don't make any sense until later...like once I was at school and I saw myself falling...in my mind... and I couldn't get up...and it turned out a kid had twisted their ankle on the track field... Usually it's just an odd feeling that I get...I suppose some people would call it a 'vision', and I don't understand it; but that one time that my dad fell off a ladder, I knew for sure that it was him and he was in pain...I suppose it has to do with how well I know the person."

She stopped, blushing slightly as she realized how much she'd said. It felt odd, telling so much about herself to someone she hardly knew, but Luna seemed to want to get to know her. "I was just going to walk around a bit, maybe find a few animals and see if I could get them to come to me..." she said, starting to walk off, but then stopped and said, "you can come with me if you'd like, though I can't guarantee that anything interesting will happen." Lenny hopped down out of her arms and ran off through the grass.

Agent Razze returned to Zalx as she finished talking with her fellow agent. She knelt beside him as he was still on the floor.

"I'm sorry this happened, Zalx," she said in a gentle voice. "We are taking measures to increase the security of everything that comes into this academy. And right now we need to make sure you are alright. If you'll come with me, we have a very good counselor who will be able to help you deal with what has happened."

"No, thats really not necessary, I'm fine, I already know what I must do."
Zalx got up and walked away. Then he looked back and said, "When's are next class?"

KYLER

"wow, so after you learn more you can like read people's minds. that is too cool. My power isn't really something i can use against anyone. I can turn invisable and inpenetrable. Kinda like walking through walls, only i don't know how to do it with my whole body. Sometimes, my powers just go off on their own. Does that ever happen to you?"

"Yeah, it does actually." Izzy gave an embarrassed chuckle. "Startled my roommate pretty good yesterday when I slammed a door by accident. But turning invisable sounds pretty cool, actually. And being impenetrable could definitely have it's advantages out in the field. I mean, if we ever get to that point. I've certainly got a lot to learn before that point."

Izzy put her hands in her pockets and rocked back on her heels. "So, did you dye your hair or is that part of your mutation?" She smiled, hoping he didn't take that wrong.

Kyler blushed,
"my hair started to turn gray when i was about 13. now its all white. I suppose it must be part of the mutation. So they say everyone has a certian emotion t het triggers their so called powers. I don't really know what mine is, i guess i must feel it alot cause my powers are always triggering themselves. but what do you suppose your emotion is?"

Lluvia stood silent through Zalx's explanation. It still didn't make much sense to her but she could tell that Zalx was really upset about it. After Jason left, she didn't know what to do. She didn't know whether to stick around with Zalx or go after Jason. She finally decided to go after Jason when Agent Razze seemed to be trying to help Zalx. Lluvia wandered around until she found someone who told her had Jason gone outside.

There were a few people around outside, but Lluvia didn't see Jason. She walked by a pool and a tennis court and came to a basketball court. Someone was lying down in the center of the court, and it looked a lot like Jason. Lluvia came closer and realized that he was unconscious. For a second she panicked, but she calmed herself, this was the kind of stuff she had been going to school to help with. Lluvia rushed to Jason's side and checked his pulse. Good, there was still a pulse, but it was quickly growing faint. She laid him flat on his back and checked his breathing. He wasn't breathing. She tipped his head back so he wouldn't choke on his tongue. "Hey!" Lluvia yelled and waved her arms at the people in the tennis court. "Go get help!" She may have been going to school to be a doctor but she wasn't one yet.

Luna nodded at Katherine's explanation of her powers. That made sense. It also kind of reminded her of her power. Luna only felt strong emotions from people though. But usually she couldn't tell whether she was the one who was feeling the emotions or the other person. "I'll come with you." Luna said. "It would probably be more interesting than just wandering around this place." She unzipped her jacket and took off her hood. It was a bit warm to be wearing a jacket, not to mention a black one, that day. She was thankful that her ears had disappeared now that she was more comfortable being around Katherine.

Drew shrugged. He hadn't had a chance to check this place out so he didn't know what all was here.

Connor prepared to teleport again. This time, he thought about his table in the dining hall. Ok, a memory to triggger his emotion...he thought about the dog that had been his only friend for years when he was between different foster homes. It had been hit by a car...

Suddenly he was in the air. He looked down and saw two people standing beneath him. He saw the colorful paterns of the tennis court and the other's head growning closer.

"Look out!!" he yelled. But it was too late. He was gonna hit the guy with white hair...

Kyler had just asked Izzy the question when suddenly her heard someone shout "Look out! Kyler looked up, where the shout had come from to see Connor abouve him falling roght on top of him. It was too late to move, Kyler was filled with fear. But when Connor fell, Kyler could see him fall, but he didn't feel anything. Connor had Fallen right through him! Kyler looked down to see Connor on the ground and his own feet right through him! "ahh!" Kyler shouted in shock, then jumped out of Connor and to the ground beside him. Then Kyler realized what had just happened. His whole body had become inpenetrable.. Amazing, he had never done that before. Kyler smiled, happy with his accomplishment. He got up off the floor and held his hand out to Connor to help him up.

Izzy watched in amazement as Kyler's whole body disappeared right in front of her. And it was a good thing he did because another guy Izzy hadn't met before suddenly dropped from the sky in the exact spot Kyler would have been.

"Whoa!" She exlaimed. "How did you-?" She stopped as she heard someone calling for help. Izzy looked around and spotted a girl in the basketball court. She was waving her arms, desperately trying to get someone's attention. Izzy glanced back at Kyler and the other boy just as Kyler reached out his hand to help the other guy up. "I'll be right back." She said and jogged over to the basketball court. As she got closer she saw that there was another person on the ground. Izzy quickened her jog into a run and then skidded to a stop as she neared the girl, realizing with a jolt that she recognized the guy on the ground.....it was that Jason dude who called himself "Flame".

"What happened!?" Izzy cried as she glanced over Jason's body for burns. She had seen him earlier playing with fireballs and had been afraid he would burn either himself or someone else, and now that he was hurt, her mind had immediately jumped to burns.

Zalx got up and walked away. Then he looked back and said, "When's are next class?"

Agent Razze recognized the look of revenge that Zalx now wore. And she knew what it would lead to if she didn't take care of it starting now.

"I don't think you understand," Agent Razze explained. "It is highly recommended that you talk with our counselor. If you choose not to, you will be closely monitored and any activity that is deemed to stem from this incident, be it planning revenge or taking out your frustrations on others or anything else, you will be dismissed from the program. We can not have our students distracted on the job or in the classroom by personal matters. This business is all about teamwork and focusing on the job at hand. A clear mind and controlled emotions are essentials. You are not here, ever, for yourself. Do we have an understanding?"

Samm shook her head. "I never had the pleasure of getting a tour around the grounds, either. Perhaps if we just wander around we could find some kind of desent place to practice..."

"Works for me," Andrew said with a shrug. "I wouldn't mind checking this place out a bit. I already feel like I'm behind everyone else, coming in late and all."

He glanced around and pointed down the hall, "should we try that way and see what we find?"

Hope got herself dried off and decided to walk around a bit. It was a nice day outside and she hadn't explored the grounds much yet. She remembered that there was a pool around somewhere and wondered if she could make its water solid. Hope left her room and headed outside in search of the pool.

"Wha? But... *Sigh* Fine. I'll go to the consoling classes." He said. He really didn't need them, he was just going to wait until a mission of the dogfighting varity would show itself. He would then interagate a dog fighter and demand to know where conrad was. Then, he would sneak out of the compound, and kill conrad.
