Critizising Islam....while bringing in Christianity is quoque... and you know it...How about that for "intellectual honesty". Islam cannot stand alone and always has to attack Christianity to defend itself...You keep doing the same...You side with a religion that has monotheism....I wonder Rasta are you a deist and you always take their side of the argument? If you do how come?
I only post to provide balance to an argument. I am not a deist. I am an atheist. I'm not on anyone's side but the persuit for truth.
if you do not have absolute knowledge then why would anyone believe you over the authority of God and the Bible?
Because the "authority of god and the Bible" are not absolute truth. They are merely the perspectives of people who lived and died before the scientific method was commonly used. People are always searching for answers. When they can't answer them, they make up answers.
Do you realize what you just said contradicting your own words..... God's words are "always" superior to what me and you are saying and we are quoting what the revealed truths in the bible say....
That's your opinion. Most of the world disagrees.
Prove it... Saying that the Koran cannot 'defend" its own god but has to say....."well.....Christians do this or that" is that intellectual honesty?? Your point is moot.
Yes that is intellectual honesty, and the point is not moot. If Christians are guilty of what they accuse Muslims of, that is hypocritical and makes YOUR argument moot.
You reject there is a God and its non-existance cannot be prover either way
I'm not convinced that any gods exsist. Just like Thor, Krishna, FSM, Vishnu, Anubis, Hercules, Posidon, the Easter Bunny, and many, many, many more can't be proven or disproven. I am just consistent with my beliefs.
Also God is not a physical being and of the physical realm.
Prove it please.
You deny any spiritual realm and that is your right. How this convience us that there is no God??? Beats me....
I am not convinced that anything "spiritual or magical" exsists. Well, if your argument is illogical, that should be your first clue that something is not right.
Sure you can because of your incapability to conceptualize who God is... you are trying to convience others of His non-existance.
I can conceptualize, that does not equate to belief. I'm not trying to convince you of his non-exsistence. Just showing that your claims are not logical.
I wonder why on earth Atheists are so adamant to persuade us of God's non-existance?
You seem stuck on this idea, perhaps you should create a thread.
Maybe of their own incecurity on that belief?
Not for me. I can't speak for everyone.
Religion existed since the beginning of the human race Bronze age testifies to the humans even believed their burried ancestors to be gods.
Yes. This is true. Yet the only thing that continues to survive from the Bronze age is the belief in supernatural. That is it.
This is an innate impulse in men that was bestowed by our Creator.
Prove it please. I think a much more rational answer is that man has always asked questions, when they don't have answers, they make them up. There is loads and loads of ancient beliefs that we no longer believe because of our understanding of science.
As atheists you might express that need in other various ways ....like materialism etc... still it is there and in your very existance.....
I'm not materialistic.
or spiritual realm that you do not realize...it exists.
That's a possibility, though very unlikely. If one shred of evidence exsisted to reinforce the idea of spirits and magical beings do exsist, you might have something.
Equating love of God with that of the human race....lovely Rasta.

How silly of me to think that he was talking to me.
Love of God as expressed is far from perfect. How about making a sweeping generalization and call a zealous christian or an Apostle a "less than average loving person"?
My comment was directed to one person. If you feel my comment applies to you too, I can't help that.
All our Apostles were not the same.... as I said before others were more vocal and others more pastoral... Jefell told you God loves you and he wants you to love Him back... How is this not "loving"? What does he have to gain to "spread the words of the Gospel" to you??? Nothing....It was out of his love for you to become a believer and turn to God.

He is reinforcing his own presuppositions of reality to make himself feel better about his judgment of others.
Have a beautiful Day
You too. Thanks.
