Could have been worse.
Recall the cabinet meeting last term where they went all around the room praising dear leader.
This meeting could have easily been the same with cabinet member praising just being able to work for President Musk.

...shows not only that he's not doing what he said he would, but that he cannot do it. He lied to you.
No. He didn't. The deportations of illegal immigrants shall happen and it is going to be much more deportations than under the previous administration. Remember, this time, the deportations have been going on for only a month. In my opinion, you believe Trump is lying because you want to believe he is lying. I do wonder what your feelings are concerning the political leadership in your OWN nation.

No. He didn't.
Yes, he did. I just gave you an example of his lie about his approval ratings.

It'll have to be. From here: https://www.reuters.com/world/us/tr...utes-expand-immigration-crackdown-2025-02-21/

'U.S. President Donald Trump deported 37,660 people during his first month...'

If he wants to get rid of 12 million illegal immigrants then that 37,000 figure per month will need to be a quarter of a million people per month over his 4 year term. That's well over 8,000 people per day.

Now I know he's not going to do that. And you know he's not going to do that as well (and I'll be pointing it out month by month and upping the required monthly totals). Which is why you said he'd deport more than the previous admin. You are walking it back already.

I gave you examples of his approval ratings in another poll.

You know what his overall approval ratings are. I gave 8 separate polls. The figures don't lie. Trump does. He made his up. They only exist in his head. And again, you know this. Why try to defend him when he does this?

From here: Trump's Promise of Millions of Deportations Is Yet to Be Fulfilled

“We have at least 11 million people in this country that came in illegally. They will go out,”

From here: https://edition.cnn.com/2024/05/01/politics/trump-immigration-what-matters/index.html

'Trump told Time he would target between 15 million and 20 million people who he said are undocumented in the US'

He never promised that all of them will be deported. You can set a very high goal to reach, while at the same time understanding that very high goal is almost impossible to attain. However, if the Trump administration deports 6 to 8 million illegal immigrants, then that is a win. It would be far more than the Democratic Party is willing to deport.

11 million in? 'They will go out'.

Your attempt to walk back his lies are noted.

It's not a press conference. It's supposed to be a business meeting. Normally the most questions is a couple at the top before the press is put out of the room.
I know that is what some have grown used to, but others appreciate the transparency. It is nice to hear from members in unity and not just have a photo op with scripted questions and responses.

Unless, of course, the cabinet members have no real power.

Elect clowns, expect a circus...
We got a circus, for sure, but where is the bread? This latest budget bill is taking bread away from the people.
