All I'm saying is, you have veterans that have had their legs blown off in Iraq, and here comes Donald Trump or Elon musk talking to them like they're useless pieces of lazy garbage of the federal workforce. As though he isn't aware that much of the federal government staff consists of veterans. Veterans make up something like 30% of the entire federal workforce.

Many federal workers are vets. They're terrified.

Veterans in 2021 made up roughly one-third of the federal workforce, which the Trump administration is targeting with sweeping layoffs.

This email sounds like borderline harassment. Military veterans who put the lives on the line for our country. They go to the VA and get a job helping other veterans with PTSD, and here comes musk talking about firing them if they don't prove that they're "real people".

They failed no test. But you're correct in calling the 'request' (sounded more of a command) inane. It's why it's been effectively ignored. It was a risibly inept demand from someone who seems to put zero thought into what he's doing. No thought of how it's meant to work, no thought of the repercussions, no thought of the legality of the matter.

He's proving himself to be someone who looks exactly like he has no idea what he's doing.

It seems there's a lot of making up how things are being handled. Like create a scenario of how it's being mishandled and then propagandiz it.
