Music you listen to

Even when I started buying CDs a few years back I bought stuff from my earlier years.
Most of my CD music is 20 - 25 years old.
Mostly Christian music and country music "classics".

Some of my favorite artists follow:

Glen Campbell, Crystal Gayle, Loretta Lynn, Ladysmith Black Mambazo

The only newer stuff I have picked up is
Michael W. Smith, the first 10 years and the second 10 years,
and Point of Grace's 24.

No way!! I love the DMB's!! See them in concert every summer.

I don't listen to a lot of music, except right now my church choir is practicing for our Christmas Cantata and I've been listening to it...over and over again. I do listen to Southern Gospel more than anything though.

I listen to Contemporary Christian mostly and Christian Rock too. I love Third Day, Michael W. Smith, Mark Schultz, and DC Talk. I could go on but I'll stop there!

I really like Third Day. I also listen to Diamond Rio, and I am really getting into a new guy named Marc Broussard - love his voice and eclectic style of music. Have any of you heard of him? His song "Home" is really great!

I mostly listen to Christian, but prefer songs by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. They are absolutely fabulous! I also like Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, Jim Brickman.

I listen to all kinds except for Rap, hip hop, heavy metal. Nothing offensive.

I love Christian, Classical, Jazz, Sinatra, Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, music of the 70's, 80's and 90's.

i listen to all kinds of christian music, and have favorites in all categories of it , if it edifys Jesus i listen to it , my favorite secular to listen to ( when i used to ) was 50 s music , but i used to have quite an extensive collection, back when 45s and albums were the rage LOL now i prefer praise and worship most times, and upbeat songs of praise , i love some of the street ministry kids music , and i believe each has its own people that is drawn to Jesus by it , thank you Lord for bringing all these diversities into your perfect plan !

I like most good music, Comtemporary Christian, Southern or bluegrass gospel, lite rock, country, and oldies. I don't care for rap or metal music.

I haven't been listening to much Christian music lately. I think I slowed down when Sixpence None The Richer broke up. My favorite song is still Twila Paris' "Nothing But Love". It knocked out the Pat Benatar classic "Hell Is For Children". (Actually, it trumped it!) Also, "Thief" by Third Day makes me cry every time I hear it.

Late 60's and early 70's classic rock is my all-time favorite.

Still have all of my old albums and listen to them on occasion. But I do buy some new music, mostly rock. Purchases this year have been The Killers, Coldplay, Franz Ferdinand. I also buy some country as well - just bought Brad Paisley's newest CD.

in my portable CD case is of Christian genre. I love Kutless and Switchfoot -- they're the ones I listen to most. I do however have a couple of the WOW CDs, Newsboys, DC Talk, Benjamin Gate, Michael Tate, Annie Meadows, . . . just to name a handful.

I love listening to all kinds of music. I admit that I listen to an Oldies radio station at work, and most of the time at home, I listen to Christian music. I think my all-time favorite Christian group is 4Him. Love them! I also love listening to Jim Brickman.

However, the wilder side of me loves the Pat Benatar, Foreigner stuff. Sometimes, there isn't anything better than a good, classic, rock song to get you in a good mood!!!
