Music in heaven?

In the bible does it ever mention music? Not just singing but playing instruments and stuff. I love playing the piano and guitar so much and couldnt imagine life without it. I would assume since its heaven there would be and it would be unlike anything we could hear on earth right??

I hope so. The two things I love most down here on earth is music and food and I can't even imagine how good life is gonna be up there where both are better than down here. Imagine how good a steak is, or cheesecake, and it's gonna be better up there. (drools)

Haha, I never thought of the food part..hmm.

In the Psalms, it often mentions musical instruments. For example, Psalm 150 says:

"Praise the LORD .

Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heavens.
Praise him for his acts of power;
praise him for his surpassing greatness.
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,
praise him with tambourine and dancing,
praise him with the strings and flute,
praise him with the clash of cymbals,
praise him with resounding cymbals.

Let everything that has breath praise the LORD .

Praise the LORD."

Isn't that awesome? Instruments are never mentioned in the New Testament, but I think we'll definitely have music in heaven.

So, yes.

Wow- I had seen the verses about singing, but I didn't realize there was a verse with a reference to harps in the New Testament. I guess I should have done some more research, that's really cool.

One guy who goes to my church had a kinda vision cept sound not seeing and he heard a kinda music from hevean and it was like uber but it took him along time to figure out it was God. He said it was like sort of beels but they sounded like soo good. You almost hear it your self when he testified and i sounded pretty good.

Also I heard there was a guy who had a vision of in heaven there was like bread cept i grew on tree's and you just picked it

Well in revelation theres mention of trumpets, and also a feast so i guess theres both.

Cant wait to get to heaven. Will be so cool hanging out with Wesley and the boys, Jesus, Moses, the whole gang.

Its something that I dont understand, how some Christians find it so hard to breakthrough in worship, and yet heaven is... eternal worship! wooohooo!
