No person is obligated to adopt. It is their choice if they want to adopt and it is their choice whom they will adopt.
Do you begrudge anyone who chooses not to adopt or do you begrudge a person who shops around for a specific child during the adoption process?
There is nothing wrong with God being able and willing to choose.

Of course not... but there is plenty wrong with people who are convinced that they're already adopted... you know what they say about counting your chickens...

What does the Bible say about God's adoption and how he cares for family members?
Our feelings are irrelevant if they do not match up with the data.
What is God's policy on adoption?

Do you realize, some dont view the claims in the bible as credible?

What does the Bible say? Read it. You are merely tossing out an uninformed opinion. It's time you downloaded a bible app and started reading.

The Bible is not God. You don't know that, and you call others "uninformed"?

Well, we have wandered far and wide here but I am going to drag us back on topic; let's see if we can stay there......
"For the past week the press has lionized Ali as a great, wonderful, compassionate individual. Is that really true or is there another less tolerant and humanitarian side to him? We all know he was a great boxer but was his human side much less than than the media are proclaiming or is that an accurate portrayal. And please make sure you have some evidence to support your statements."

It is how God communicated with humanity. To inform yourself about what God said, you should read what he said.
Who says God communicated with humanity using the bible? Does the bible say that?

Is it common for gods to communicate using ancient, human manuscripts?

Without a proper definition of a good person, none of us can adequately answer your questions.

I gave one example of him talking someone out of suicide. That seems pretty good to me. He's also inspired courage and conviction in countless fans of his. He was a principled man who stood for what he thought was right. I don't know of any situation where he ever attacked someone that wasn't an opponent in the ring with him.

Also, just did a quick search:

He has devoted his life to helping promote world peace, civil rights, cross-cultural understanding, interfaith relations, humanitarianism, hunger relief, and the commonality of basic human values. His work as an ambassador for peace began in 1985, when he flew to Lebanon to secure the release of four hostages. Ali also has made goodwill missions to Afghanistan and North Korea; delivered over $1 million in medical aid to Cuba; traveled to Iraq to secure the release of 15 United States hostages during the first Gulf War; and journeyed to South Africa to meet Nelson Mandela upon his release from prison. His recent attempt to free two American hikers held captive in Iran reinforces his tireless commitment to promoting freedom, tolerance, and humanity around the world.

These are all good things to me. I don't know how they seem to you.

Why do you think he wasn't so great?

Yes, the Bible says that. (2 Timothy 3:15-16)

The commonality is for you to research. I know that 66 writings, over a 2000 year time span, written on 3 different continents by people who seldom knew each other, all finish each others sentences. That is remarkable and something that God could do, but likely not humans.

You can believe or reject the Bible. It's your life.

That is unsurprising.

Really? Have you seen the pyramids?... Stonehenge?... The International Space Station?... Humans can do some pretty remarkable things. Writing a book that reads like it tells the future isn't super impressive to me.

You can believe or reject the Bible. It's your life.
Reject.

I did not make that statement in the OP, did I? I believe I left it open to present both "good and bad" about as people have done.

Fair enough. I might have misunderstood the point of the OP.

I can only read what humanity said... why should I believe them when they said God's in the Bible?

Who said God is in the Bible? God speaks to humanity in the Bible. God is ever present. That you cannot see, is not my fault.
Enjoy your day.
