Regardless, this is why we need to focus our deportation efforts on the true violent criminal element of illegal immigrants. Which makes more sense to get out of the country the quickest: MS-13 gang members, targeting cops? Or the teenage girl brought here as a small child who is just trying to get an education?

Good idea. Never make one shorter with a hacksaw that would be a federal crime even if you only cut off a half an inch.

You don't really know what the term "sanctuary cities" means, do you?

It means that those cities don't report or detain based solely on suspected immigration status. If an illegal immigrant is arrested for murder, they aren't going to be let go because they're illegal.

I didn't know that! I had one that I had bought at a gun show that had a 19" barrel but was obviously cut from a longer one. I don't have it anymore, but that might be a good thing, I guess. My current one has a factory-made 20" on it.
