Movies you hate!!!

i have never seen any star wars movies, and will not out of principle. i know its terrible to generalise but when i think "star wars" i think "nerds" and thats definitely not a factor which beckons me to rent the movies.

well, I guess I'm a nerd then because I love these movies! lol
I know a lot of people who like these movies and are differently not nerds!!!!
I can understand the people who refuse to see it because the "force" stuff is offensive but to not see it because of nerds!!!........?

Rented the "Medallion" this weekend. there were some cool tricks by the "legendary" Jackie Chan but the story and acting was bad. Then again, who watches a Jackie Chan movie for the story!

i can kinda understand dumb and dumber and swat was ok but not that good but unbreakable was one of the best movies i have ever seen! (and i've seen alot of movies) :timeout:

My least favorite film that I've ever had the DISpleasure to see is the first Left Behind flick (I refuse to watch any of the other ones).

To say that this film is quality, is simply being blind and not understanding quality filmmaking. To say you like it and it's a favorite of yours is one thing, but to say it's good filmmaking is simply not true.

It wasn't.

My biggest dissapointment with the Left Behind movies is that they did not capture the gravity of a worldwide dissapearance. With the books, I was like "wow, billions have dissappeared, traffic jams everywhere, people are freaking out, the world is in havoc, this is the darkest day of mankind, etc..." I felt none of that watching the movie.

scarface - why is this a classic? what's entertaining about a person who snorts crack and says the f-word all the time and is mean to his wife?
monster's ball - since when did movies not have to have a plot?
election - ditto
wonder boys - the king of non-plot-having-est movies of all time.

I'm a proud nerd!!!!! I don't care for George Lucas, but I am a fan of Star Wars.

But any of the Kevin Smith flicks...Clerks, Mallrats, etc.

I just found them incredibly boring. My personal opinion.

I know lots of people love them. But they just weren't for me.

I was confused as to what was happening the whole time. And it was funny that they billed Penolope Cruise as staring in this movie and she was only in it for about 15 min.

Yes, he was terrible as Jack Ryan... and turning the terrorists into old Nazi men wanting to relive the good ole days was just plain terrible... they should have stuck to the book-- muslim extremists. But I guess in this day and age they don't want to offend anyone....

(too bad the REAL story and REAL Navajo code survivors deserved a better movie)
