Its evident there's tension and anger..I can even see it cross over into the forums.

I think one obvious step is to of course hear each other out and make an effort to understand each person's point of view. However, the problem with that is that things can get heated really quickly and just deter from the intended goal.

Equality is what everyone is obviously crying from their soul, from whites concerning proper news coverage when it comes to black on white crimes..or just crimes period... To blacks with simple justice concerning white on black crimes ( these are just *some* of the things I heard) ...

However to do this it would require an unbiased mind...still a start would be nice.

This passage is not meant to be taken out of context to promote an egalitarian idea, nor to do away with the consciousness of race. Being one in Christ means those who obey Christ in fellowship. Those who obey Christ obey the commandments (Matthew 5:17-18; 19:17). The commandments tell us not to race mix. To have fellowship is one thing. To intermix races and cultures is another.

It means exactly what it says, "There is neither Jew nor Greek" we are all one people under Christ the King. Slavery is no longer legal so that one is out the window, however we are to be obedient to our employers etc. The commandments do not tell us not to race mix. Those are the tenants of whatever separatist organization you belong to. Total separation only sows the seeds of mistrust, jealousy and even hatred.

No it doesn't. If everyone had stayed in their allotments from the beginning (Acts 17:26) then no one would ever fight over resources. That's a stupid argument anyway. People have developed trading posts throughout history. All we need to do is trade resources. We don't need to intermix.

Where would they go as their populations grew? Who would get the land next to water? Who would get the high land? Who would get the land with the most fertile soil? I'll tell you who...The group with the mightiest warriors. As populations grow and change, the need for resources is always changing and competition for those resources is always growing. As one population, the resources are shared among the masses. As smaller groups, the competitions for those resources grows and that is why we have things like war. Trading posts are good for items we like but when it comes to things we need, there will always be war between peoples.

I just hope all white folk know that they wouldn't have been able to survive as long as they have been around if it was not for minority groups. The most ungreatfull race known to man. Did you know that it was the Moores(black people) that taught European people how to be clean because they kept getting sick with diseases? Then when European people came to America it was the native americans that taught white folks how to survive off land then they killed them all. At the same time began the slave trade for 400+ years living off of others. I just hope white folks get saved before Christ comes cause yal know you'll be the minority in heaven.

Generalizations can be racist, because it colors your mind to think about a group of people a certain way and that in itself isnt right. And what statement are you referring to? I will apologize for jumping at your previous statement. But I think when it comes to lazy alot of people have minorities in mind... And relating lazy to people of color..simply based on statistics or whatever just isnt right. And I just thought of my mom, she's the furthest person from lazy...when she sleeps its BC her body has shut down...my friends are also very hardworking too...and that's the issue with these "statistics" they dont take people like my mom or friends into account..just the "majority" and label everyone as lazy or whatever label anyone what's to put on whoever and those that go against that label fall under it...promoting bias and prejudice in the minds of this who assigned that label...despite the contrast an individual may display to assigned label.

And one last thing, even if a person happens to be lazy or fit their stereotype...so what.. So what. That doesn't mean you've become a god now and can hang their flaws over them BC you have flaws as well... No one on this forum has "arrived" so no matter what a " statistic" says... No one is better than anyone..and I feel that is what some statistics do...promote a false sense of hierarchy....when the truth is..if you had a life altering operation and you needed a heart or kidney from someone you may deem as inferior...all the statistics and bias and prejudice goes out the window...in that moment it simply does not matter.

I am sorry that you were offended, that was not my intent. But you should make sure that you are being offended by something worthy of offense, and not like so many do nowadays, be offended for the sake of being permanently offended.

Whatever your race is I DON'T CARE. Not my privilege or my burden. Whatever somebodies ancestors did 200 years ago is history, not a real problem. Are there any slaves on the forum today? No? OK, quit whining about slavery.
Were the Irish treated like crap when they came to the US? You betcha, so were the Italians, and the Chinese. The natives

You asked what could resolve this race issue in America and first thing is first is to admit the past, deal with it, fix it. Not sweep it under a rug. Teach truth.

^ you must remember that many whites live in mostly white areas and many blacks live in mostly black areas and have only what tv and movies throw at us to show each other what we're like I went to an elementary school and high school that had 3 black kids out of the 2400 students and maybe 20 Mexicans... very different white people from those in very heavily mixed environments... blacks on tv are all rappers, thugs and social degenerates and whites are portrayed as peppy, rich and selfish which is not true of either race in the majority... that would be racial if I said they did. Again, blacks were enslaved by blacks. Blacks sold blacks and there WERE Blacks who had black slaves.... gotta love public schools.... only teaching one side of things

To me that was worthy of offense and the latter part of your post is too. The reason people are "whining" about slavery is because some of the same mindsets( bias,prejudices) and actions that came from the 1809's are still spilling over into 2016. When an officer can shoot someone ,who happens to be black, for no reason and say " I dont know" and that is supposed to be a suffice answer...and even more, its not a one time event but multiple...and people tell you to get over it like youre supposed to get over it and be glad that it wasn't you....

That is a problem, that is a MAJOR problem.

For one, because it could have been me..or someone else I know.... Expect I wasn't In the right place at the right time.

Two, it reveals the lack of empathy people seem to display for certain people. And to trivialize and belittle one's pain is a horrible thing to do especially after a tragedy...

Which is why I don't like it when people say, black people keep whining about slavery or just need to get over it. That along with the Holocaust was one of the most horrendous displays of human depravity...and to trivialize it by saying, " just get over it" or " you weren't in it" is so rude to say..just because it didnt happen to me I'm not supposed to feel sorrow for those people..who looked like me and could have been me if I were born in that time period...

No..i won't..because I have a heart..that feels, even though it happened long ago those were people with hearts and souls and dreams and what happened was tragic...but alot of people they keep them selves from acknowledging that.

No one is looking for an apology BC one I dont need an apology, no one did anything to me... No is trying to make you feel guilty..at least not me...

The only thing I'm saying is, even though you had nothing to do with an event...it shouldn't keep you from being able to empathize with those who have suffered hardship.

Also, I see alot of black people who are still angry...and try to place blame on white people today for something their ancestors did. The sins of the father shouldn't fall on their children, you cant be angry or mad at someone who did nothing to you... You have to give everyone a fair chance ..and just let everyone's personal character and personal actions speak for themselves. You cant hang such a heavy past over their heads. Its a burden.
