Its evident there's tension and anger..I can even see it cross over into the forums.

I think one obvious step is to of course hear each other out and make an effort to understand each person's point of view. However, the problem with that is that things can get heated really quickly and just deter from the intended goal.

Equality is what everyone is obviously crying from their soul, from whites concerning proper news coverage when it comes to black on white crimes..or just crimes period... To blacks with simple justice concerning white on black crimes ( these are just *some* of the things I heard) ...

However to do this it would require an unbiased mind...still a start would be nice.

Serious answers..only..

No pot stirrers.

Everyone is free to have an opinion..just let it add something to the goal of the thread.

1. Stop talking about race.

2. Become color blind.

3. Expose racism, whether black, white, yellow, red, or brown.

4. Preach the Gospel, which teaches that there is only one race -- Adam's.

I dont know about the first one...its obvious it needs to be talked about .If it wasn't an issue people wouldn't be so angry ...and their wouldn't be so much tension...

We have to care for one another enough to empathize with each others pain...ignoring is a bit offensive when someone is in pain.

Serious answer:

180° of reflection of the law on and treatment toward minorities vs white persons in America.

If there is nothing to complain about, we will see the same results per space, and nothing will be lost. We will know for sure it isn't a system that furnaces the machine, it is psychosis.

And, I mean all rules - full 180°. Anything short of that right now is ridiculously futile.

Hi , can you put this in laymen's term because I really couldn't understand this.

Somehow the cosmos need's to turn white to black (mild pun intended,) and make all alleged privileges, rights, treatments and special gifting minorities claim white people in America get available ONLY to minorities. Then at the same time, yank all of those privileges away from white people in America, and give them exactly the privileges and treatment minorities claim they receive in America. (Since the "universe" does this, it will be an actual reflection, not an exaggeration of either side.)

Then, let those groups live for half a generation in that stasis of privilege reversed, and slowly wane it back as a generation of minorities are born into alleged white privilege talked about.

If there is no empathy, understanding, change for the better, or conversation within the first MONTH, then any other feat is futility.

I hope I read this correctly... So you want minorities to have the privilege whites have? You want the shoes to be on the other's foot and let those people walk in the others life for a while in the other's shoes ...right?

If that's the case I do feel we all need to see and feel each others plight... But taking turns being a " step child" so to speak isnt the way to go about it.... People know right from wrong when they see it...you get what I'm saying.. In a perfect world.. Anyone should just be able to say " I'm hurting and here's why" and people should be able to get that without making excuses or what have you..but of course we live in a broken world..

The only thing I ask is the playing field be leveled for everyone. That is all.

Yeah if there's no real conversation...then I think it'll go to show..people dont want change..they just want to continue to bicker and moan. Be right and shut the other out..and just not do anything about the real issue.

The real issue is that America has race relation issues and it is a problem and there should be some solutions.

This is going to sound terrible but until black people can figure out how to stop killing each other in record numbers, there can be no equality Black people are not able to come together as a people and deal with one another with respect. How can they (we) deal with anybody else with respect as in try to bridge the gap between two communities when we are not one whole community ourselves. Nobody can accomplish this but black people and nobody seems to be interested in doing it.

It sound bad because black people aren't the only ones killing each other. White, Hispanic,Asian ,Indians and Muslims all commit crimes against each other as well.It sound bad because black people aren't the only ones killing each other. Each community has its own problems.. But that's not for me to say..out of respect.. But I do agree with you. I think the BLM group needs to focus not only on hate crimes committed against blacks but crimes commited against are own as well.

With that said, just because a group of people may seem to be tearing each other down..it doesn't make it okay or give an okay to senselessly murder people from said group..just because their own do it. That makes no sense...and like I said earlier, everyone from every race commits crimes against their own...so their is no perfect community.

This is true but no one is killing each other like blacks are. It's epidemic in the inner city. However, any individual can overcome prejudice by exposing themselves to a person of another culture. It's all about exposure conquering the fear. What I was talking about before was on a societal level.

It needs to be something drastic like simultaneous, instantaneous role reversal. It has to be; too many people DON'T know right from wrong.

And, since we calibrate our morality over the spread of those who we want to be around us, it will be hard to find common ground on what to do except something forced like this.

As said, if white privilege is BS, we should see similar slopes in apparent success for minorities as have befallen whites. If systematic oppression is BS, we should see a similar slope in apparent degeration that have befallen minorities.

You can't leave it to people; this is why we are on this thread. Even though you may be willing, others aren't.

For example, when you are crowded into cities and environments with people who look exactly like you, because of social and ssystemic reasons, the crime committed in that city or environment is statistically possible and probable to be against people who look like you (black on black, Latino on latino, Asian on asian, native on native, etc.)

Add in "cultural sanctions," and you breed a pool of crime in one homogeneous group of people. Surely, all humans are not perfect, so there will be some evil people all over.

Little things like this go over many heads, and they are mustard seeds of points that open into a very large spread of insight. But, we are at the point where these conversations won't even work anymore. It won't work; no conversation will. There was '75 - '05 to do this at the latest.

What about bombings in Syria? Suicide bombings? No? And I myself haven't laid a hand on anyone. Yes it needs to be addressed but in an unbiased manner... I think the issue with , " no body is killing each other like blacks are" is that it makes it seem like, those who are white,Asian,Hispanic ECT who died at the hands of those in their own own community...okay..like it doesn't deserve attention or isnt a problem BC " not too many died" ...and that phrase also paints blacks are vicious which we aren't. Anybody can be vicious.

I think even with role reversal, some people will still harden their heart and not *want* to see. So I think it'd just be a waste of time, instead , like I proposed earlier is just a leveled playing field where every one has a good Headstart and finish.

I agree about exposing oneself to a different culture and different people and just not absorbing stereotypes about people from the the tube. However, I do feel those that are mentally unstable need to be watched and assisted when doing this..so nothing goes wrong.
