The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one Divine essence, for which there is no match nor ever will be. They are un-created, while all else that exists is created by Them. You are not un-created. The atomic particles of which you are made were also made by the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, just as the Bible has always stated and of which there is no doubt.

The "being made perfect in one" does not, nor ever will, cause us to become of one essence with God. This is not possible because we are created beings whereas God is not a created being. God even says that we cannot know God's essence, because it would destroy us to know it. We cannot "look upon the face (essence) of God and live" (Exodus 33:20). That we cannot look upon the Divine essence, and especially never be partakers of the Divine essence is Biblical beyond doubt: "He alone is immortal and dwells in unapproachable light. Being exposed to Mormon ideologies has done significant harm to your understanding of Scripture. That is a fact. We will be one by God's grace, which is God's un-created Divine energy radiating from God's essence, but we will never be of one essence with God. Would you not wish that God would repent of His Judgment toward you if you had one unaccounted- for sin in the End?

God never sins. Therefore, he never needs to repent. As Christians we know this.

It sounds like He had mercy on them instead of punishing them.

Where does the Bible mention essence or trinity? Instead it says "perfect in one". We have been commanded to be perfect.

As I said there are contradictions in the Bible. The scripture I quoted is from the JST. As a prophet of God Joseph Smith did have authority from God to make corrections to the Bible. There are other contradictions such as the first part of John 3:12
