I do not desire power or responsibility. However, God wants us to be like Him and has commanded us to be perfect.

Jesus said "ye are Gods"

John 10:34 Greek Text Analysis
God wants us to be like Him by being in Communion with Him. God's plan is not for us to become gods to be worshiped. There is only One God dwelling in light unapproachable, Whom no one has ever seen nor can see. We will reflect the glory of that One, True God, but only in our Communion by grace.

Where does the Bible mention essence or trinity? Instead it says "perfect in one". We have been commanded to be perfect.
The Bible mentions essence here: 1 Timothy 6:15-16

There can be no doubt for anyone with knowledge of the Gospels that God the Father, God the Word, and God the Spirit is the One God Which "alone is immortal and dwells in unapproachable light: the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords".

You are not "the Only Immortal", nor do you dwell in "unapproachable light", nor have you ever been, nor will you ever be "King of King and Lord of Lords". The Bible, in 1 Timothy 6:15-16 clearly says so, just as the Bible also says that God's Word and God's Spirit are inseparable from God Who is the Father, and are therefor the same immortal being, Who is alone immortal and dwells in unapproachable light. At some point you are simply going to have to deal with the Truth, even if the Truth does not agree with the 200 year old religion that was started by some guy that lived on a farm less than an hour from where I am right now, who basically called Jesus Christ a liar when he claimed that the Church of Jesus Christ fell away, whereas Christ Himself clearly taught that He was building His Church upon a rock, Wise Builder that He is, so that whatever sort of waves might pound against it, it would not fall.

Both of these cannot be telling the truth. One of them has to be a liar. Which do you suppose is lying about the Church that Jesus Christ started?

The Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price show that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and brought Christ's church back to the earth again.

And, he is still one of these:

Matthew 24:11
Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

You can give me part of you testimony a million times--so in that we are going to have to agree to disagree.

It was a comparison.

A comparison of falsehood to the actual truth which you have not considered the implications of?
No-- that is not a comparison but a whole lot of wishful thinking.

you read too much of man thoughts! Read you bible!
The bible is clear as to why we were created----now is a different story. With the fall we became a theatre to the universe.

1Co 4:9 For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.
God wants to separate the tares from the wheat.

You have not shown me where the Book of Mormon is false either.

I still say that God does not repent.

And Christianity still says that Joseph Smith is a liar and an anti-Christ.

Guess which conclusion is infinitely more important for your soul.

Joseph Smith is not an anti-Christ, however all have sinned and came short of the glory of God.

Sorry---- your say does not make for truth.
How about the Bible stating that God does not repent:

(Old Testament | Numbers 23:19)

19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

God wants to separate the tares from the wheat.

And what has that to do with what was said? However, they will not be separated until the judgement.

Mat 13:29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
Mat 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

God does not sin and therefore He does not repent in that meaning of the word. He does however, relent from a previous judgemnt or stand if He needs to. He repented He made man and therefore had to wipe them out, that means rewgret. He did not sin. He repented of His judgment on Nenevah, He changed His mind and did not destroy them, for they repented from their sins.

Is this the way Mormons are taught to bring people into the Mormon fold? Keep badgering them with silly questions that have already been answered?
At some point I have to shake the dust off my shoes and move on. I have arrived at that point.

Joseph Smith is not an anti-Christ

I'm not sure what else we can call someone who founds a religion in order that it be a replacement for Christianity, pretends as though the Holy Bible needs his 'correction', marries other men's wives and little girls in order to satisfy his own lusts, seeks to found a theocratic state with him as its leader, etc.

...I mean, other than Muhammad, but we're talking about Joseph Smith here. Joseph Smith also did these things, and just like every other religious fraud who thinks he knows better than God what God Himself has established, yes, he is an anti-Christ.

This is a test to find out who is the wheat or the sheep and who is the tares or goats.
