Here's the problem with your arguments and it has to do with your church already putting doubt on the Translation of the Bible---"We believe the Bible is the word of God insofar as it is translated correctly" or whatever.. How do you even know that those verses are translated correctly in John , Ephesians. Philippians, and 2 Peter ---that you use? You seem to believe in Bible verses when they support your arguments and when they don't, you either ignore them or try to tell us a simple word makes no difference in that very same Bible. Your are a classic example of that. Like I say, I have had 40 years of this Bible--abusing nonsense.---even perpetuated it myself at times when I was a Mormon.

And, how do you not know the "men" who translated it from this Greek to English were not Inspired by God? Did you live in whatever century they did that translation and do you truly know these things?
