There is satan's repackaged lie at the very first embedded in your statement.

Genesis 3:5
For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.

Not only be like God but be really a God in making their own decisions. The eating of the Forbidden fruit is what resulted.
Satan gave Adam and Eve half of a lie. They did die however man became like God knowing good and evil:

(Old Testament | Genesis 3:22)

22 ¶ And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Jesus was a resurrected spiritual being at the time He said that I am not yet ascended to my Father.
Jesus was resurrected a incorruptible human being. He has a body and a soul which ascended into heaven to the right hand of glory. The purpose of the Ascension is the glorification of human nature, which is exulted in Communion with the Holy Trinity in Heaven.

You can believe whatever you want to believe.

Believe in the Spirit of Truth versus some random person on the Internet?

Surely you jest!

John 16:13
However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

Evidently you are serious about it all as you are making your arguments to try to convince me. Are you God that I really should be listening to?

You are only perpetuating satan's lie when you cannot see the huge mistake in your own words.

Did God say man can become specifically like God or did He say man has become AS one of us, to know good and evil.? Satan put in that little caveat of telling them they can be specifically like God. You are only super-imposing the word God in there.

Here is you very own verse to remind you of what He acknowledged

(Old Testament | Genesis 3:22)

22 ¶ And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever

there is also the word "as"--which means "like" --which hardly means another God altogether. And, certainly we can NOT be a God or a little god in our own right by that verse.

How does the "Mormon Bible- assuming" work?
Not very good.

This is NOT about judges. The word judges is different in the Greek language:

(New Testament | John 10:34 - 35)

34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

Oh? it very much IS about judges. God appointed Moses as a judge to carry out His plagues. I guess you figure the plagues did not happen?

Is this information in the Bible? Do you have other books of scripture?

Do you believe the Bible or not? Those were God's words. What does "like" mean to you?

Then you should believe the scriptures that I quote from the Bible.

I believe in Christ through His Word.
When you assume things in His Word or take verses out out of context or miss the little words, I point out your errors.

As I said, the Greek word for God and the Greek word for judge are different.

Of course they are different.,

btw You used the capitalization of God which refers to the One True God.

I believe in God's word but then Your words are NOT God's word. You have offered no proof on what I said was wrong in your assuming something.
The word God in God's acknowledgment is what you assumed is there and is NOT.

the first thing you have to define is how become like God equates to man has become as one of us, before we discuss the adjectives.

Care to tackle that main point?

As I have shown, Jesus already called men Gods and as far as capitalization goes there was no capitalization in the Koine Greek. It was added later by men.

(New Testament | John 10:34 - 35)

34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

There is also this:

(New Testament | Philippians 2:5 - 6)

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

and this:

(New Testament | Ephesians 3:19)

19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

(New Testament | Ephesians 4:13)

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

(New Testament | 2 Peter 1:4)

4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Here's the problem with your arguments and it has to do with your church already putting doubt on the Translation of the Bible---"We believe the Bible is the word of God insofar as it is translated correctly" or whatever.. How do you even know that those verses are translated correctly in John , Ephesians. Philippians, and 2 Peter ---that you use? You seem to believe in Bible verses when they support your arguments and when they don't, you either ignore them or try to tell us a simple word makes no difference in that very same Bible. Your are a classic example of that. Like I say, I have had 40 years of this Bible--abusing nonsense.---even perpetuated it myself at times when I was a Mormon.

]As I have shown, Jesus already called men Gods and as far as capitalization goes there was no capitalization in the Koine Greek. It was added later by men----He is the way

where did you show where Jesus called men Gods?

.
And, how do you not know the "men" who translated it from this Greek to English were not Inspired by God? Did you live in whatever century they did that translation and do you truly know these things?

Do you even bother to provide some sort of source for what your claim? Are you not confident enough in your claim to use the capitalizations which you say "should be there"?

So I will pose the basic question back to you: "Do you really Trust in God's Word?" Why or why not?

I fully Trust God that His Message to me will be complete. I study Concordances and other aids when I have questions of the words of the Bible.

Christ gave us this Big Promise:

Matthew 24:35
Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

Which means no matter how people like the Mormons try to change them or their meanings or anyone else---they will not pass away. A humble heart can always find God if he/she is seeking Him.

You simply have to find a True Trust in Christ and His Word. He is the ONE by the way, that all our Salvations rest upon.

Yes salvation is given to those who obey Jesus Christ:

(New Testament | Hebrews 5:9)

9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

the Bible also says obey the truth here;
Romans 2:8
but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath,

Now since Mormons do not seek truth how does that work or will it work out in the End?
