sorry use to talk with a guy named superdad, i ment super 14My previous response was in answer to your question.
What of the after-death experience of gay couples that profess to be Christians and those ministers that marry them?
Jesus didn't say when He died He was going to heaven to prepare teaching. You done really well until the last. Spirit prison is reserved for the wicked. If a person is good and lived a good life they will be in paradise. They will be taught the gospel there just as those in spirit prison. When Christ died on the cross and his spirit left his body it went to paradise and he prepares the teaching by bridging the gulf between paradise and spirit prison so those in spirit prison can be taught the gospel as well. Also although we will have further light and knowledge in the spirit world we will still have to live by faith bruise in the spirit world who accept the gospel can be released from it and enter paradise.
Thank you for admitting it is a different God and a different Jesus. No matter what your religion says, God is just and righteous. You create your own God. The God you want in your mind.Well I'm finding there are somethings you really didn't quite grasp when you were Mormon, how long were you?
The man on the cross accepted Jesus right there, his baptism would be done later by proxy. Lot's of people in the spirit prison have accepted Jesus and moved on into paradise waiting for their baptisms to be done. Now I'm of the opinion that they won't be resurrected until the baptism is done. My fellow Mormons can correct me on that if I'm wrong.
Paul said we see though "a glass darkly ... now I know in part" we don't know everything, no buddy does.
But, I'll tell you the Evangelical concept of the after life literal turned my stomach. When the "Christian" woman who witnessed to me could see I was resisting (as I really began reading the Bible) she gave me a pamphlet as her last stab to save my soul. The thing called the children of our Heavenly Father filthy rags and spoke of hell he must have created because he created all things. Her god was going to burn all unbelievers in fire and brimstone. I use a small g in the word God there on purpose because she worshiped a god made in her own image one which was full of hate for everyone who didn't believe like she did. Her god was a failure because 99% of the people who have lived on this earth did not and will not accept her god.
I grew up worshiping a loving Heavenly Father and understanding I was his daughter, even though I would sin he would always love me. The God I worshiped save everyone from death and hell because he loves his children. I spent several nights in turmoil thinking about the monster she called god and for the life of me I can not understand how anyone could rationally worship such a being.
The problem is that you do not understand what the verse is saying. What Jesus is saying is put nothing before Him when you follow Him. The man's money and earthly things he would always desire instead of truly following Jesus.and, in the end, all men should have eternal life” Alma 1
Let’s see what Jesus say about what I required?
Luke 18
18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.
21 And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.
22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
So a lot of Christians!
The Mormon view of life after death is totally foreign to what Protestants believe. After death (before the resurrection) the person's spirit goes to a spirit world that is divided into two parts. IMO, it is best to go to official statements on their websites to obtain accurate information.
"The spirits of those who are righteous are received into a state of happiness, which is called paradise, a state of rest, a state of peace, where they shall rest from all their troubles and from all care, and sorrow.
“And then shall it come to pass, that the spirits of the wicked, yea, who are evil—for behold, they have no part nor portion of the Spirit of the Lord; for behold, they chose evil works rather than good; therefore the spirit of the devil did enter into them, and take possession of their house—and these shall be cast out into outer darkness; there shall be weeping, and wailing, and gnashing of teeth, and this because of their own iniquity, being led captive by the will of the devil.
“Now this is the state of the souls of the wicked, yea, in darkness, and a state of awful, fearful looking for the fiery indignation of the wrath of God upon them; thus they remain in this state, as well as the righteous in paradise, until the time of their resurrection” (Alma 40:12–14).
The spirits are classified according to the purity of their lives and their obedience to the will of the Lord while on earth. The righteous and the wicked are separated (see 1 Nephi 15:28–30), but the spirits may progress as they learn gospel principles and live in accordance with them. The spirits in paradise can teach the spirits in prison (see D&C 138).

No. Zero Christians. You don't know who is born again and you don't know how to identify a Christian.
“If our lives do not reflect the fruit of following Jesus, then we are foolish to think that we are actually followers of Jesus in the first place.”
- David Platt
In your opinion. I think Jesus would disagree with you and I don't think He appreciates the things you say as much as you would like to think. You just threw out 80,000,000 souls who consider themselves Christian.

You should look into JS life and history, it might just bring you down a few pegs.

Are you addressing the Mormon view of life after death?
Your priesthood does not decide who gets into heaven. What your priesthood believes and Mormon beliefs in general affect Christians 0%.Even active gay people are saved from death should they choose to accept Jesus as their savior and even if they don't a loving God will not punish them forever. Check the specifics of each of the three degrees of glory to better understand how it all works. LDS priesthood will never condone or sanctify gay marriage as so many Christain churches have done.
The thing is, you cannot create who and what God is.I'm going to repost what I think of the Evangelical god;

That is HUGE right there. That says it all for me. No more info needed to call this non-Christianity."Through the gift of the Holy Ghost we can become better persons and do good things. We can become more like our Father in Heaven. But we must always try to do good things, or the Holy Ghost will not stay with us."
