to priortize means to designate or treat something as more important or valuable than other things. So to depriortize is to stop teating that something, in htis case white men, as more valuable.

If you were hiring people and you gave no consideration to race as you're supposed to....then telling you to deprioritize white men is the same as telling you to consider them last, if at all.

If they were giving priority to hiring white men then being told to stop that would mean that race would be given no consideration in hiring, as it should be

How about instead of trying to play semantic word games you just go ahead and say you support racial discrimination towards white men. You wouldn't make these rationalizations if this were done to any other group.

This year's freshman class of Harvard has 275 black students. 30 of those students were admitted even though they did not technically meet Harvard's base line criteria in grades and standardized testing Ref: Harvard admission statistics IE through afirmative action.

at the same time 43% of Harvard's white students did not technically meet Harvard's base line criteria in grades and standardized testing. Instead relying on family connections and private donations to gain admission

No, you are continuing to misunderstand the term "represent". The CBC was not referring to "black people" but to senators and representatives of Congress who are black and how much of the population they represent as elected officials.
