Anyone play mmorpgs? I'm into DAoC and CoH currently, though my CoH account is expired and I'm giving it a rest while I catch back up in DAoC. Speaking of DAoC, guess I better go download the new free expansion.

If you play, what games/servers do you play on?

I used to be really into EQ and played on Druzzil Ro and Firiona Vie but it became an idol and I had to give it up.

On DAoC, I play Albion on Kay, Midgard on Nimue and Hibernia on Pellinor and tinker on Gaheris some as it's cool to play an Alb in Midgard or Hibernia :D .

On CoH, I play on Virtue and Liberty.

Unfortunately, I haven't the money or time to invest in a fee-based MMORPG. If I could, I'd definitely give Ragnorak a look. I was heavily into Runescape for awhile, but I've slacked off. At the moment I'm into the Republic Online.

Several friends and I are into the World of Warcraft. We're forming our own guild and you can find us here - www.toj.cc/wow

So far we're having a lot of fun with it, and we look forward to gaining new members :)
I'm really keen to try WoW but I doubt my system will run it well, if at all so I'm not thinking too much about it. :( If I can upgrade or get a new machine, I'll be all over it.

I have A LOT of experience with MMORPGs. They are VERY addictive. Before I was a Christian, I played Everquest non-stop. It was affecting my work, and social life. I didn't want to hang out with friends. All I wanted was to play EQ everyday. It was really sad.

Eventually, my addiction went to another video game, after several years. Diablo II took up a bunch of my time. But, the nice thing about D2 is that you can save and quit, or pause at any time.

After a while, I tried Anarchy Online. That was interesting, but it didn't have the same feeling as EQ.

Then I tried DAOC, and I liked it. But, it was just more of a timesink.

I became born-again about this time.

My friend started playing EQ again. So I joined up with him again. But before I started, I asked God to take this game away from me if it becomes too much. Well, what do ya know? I wasn't addicted to EQ like I once was.

Ever since I accepted Christ, video games aren't my addiction.

Anywho, I don't play EQ anymore. But, my highest level character was a 65 Human Monk on Bristlebane. I wasn't in an uber guild, but we were a good raiding team.

That's curious but I have exactly the same experience with them. I really enjoy DAoC and CoH but I can walk away from them like I never could with EQ. I finally transferred all my gear to the shared bank, deleted all my characters and made a lvl 1 then popped into PoK and gave my account to the 1st person to /tell me.

Well I ran a guild in EQ with a freind and we took it way too seriously. When the guild fell apart due to internal bickering and fighting we fled. Now we play CoH and I am so sad that we didnt make to move sooner. I love it and I can't wait for the expansions. If you play drop me a line (ruliban@swbell.net) and we can meet up. I normally play on Champion but /shrug.

Hey I used to play EQ on druzzil ro too. I didn't need Jesus's help to quit either LOL... I suppose if you really needed Jesus help to stop playing, it was probably good you stopped.

But thats the best game I've ever played, especially at higher levels. A Great strategy game, like when you have 30-40 people on a raid that have to play their toons perfectly to pull off killing a God. Was great fun being the Main tank ;)

Oh I forgot, I play on the Gaheris server.

Thornton lvl 45 Hero
Kaihawk lvl 23 Savage

Cool, I have several toons on Gaheris. None very high though. I think my highest is a 12 Cabalist. I have a 10 Shaman that I want to start lvling seriously there but I need to get my cab up some more and make him some gear money and spellcraft him some stuff. Maybe we'll run into each other.

12 Cabalist - Zareena
10 Shaman - Shamboozle
