CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm from Barry County. I certainly know where Crane and Galena are.For a while my wife and I lived outside of Branson. We lived between two small towns. Galina and Crane, but we lived right outside of Else. I really hated moving from there.

I went to Lindenwood University in St.Charles. I am now in Chicao at the Moody Bible Institute. The rest of my family lives in the Chesterfield area. I used to also live in Eureka and South County.

For the past 32 years I've lived within a 6 mile radius from Black Jack to Florissant to Hazelwood. (That's North County for all you non-Northerners!)

I find it so strange that we live so close together, and yet are worlds apart. As you tend to stay "down south", I, too, tend to stay "up north".

Hi!I lived in Chesterfield as a child, I lived in St. Charles as a teenager, went to Howell North, and so did my hubby. We're living out in Warren County right now, but we'll hopefully be moving back towards St. Louis (probably O'Fallon) later this year or early next year.
I can't believe how many people from the St. Louis area are on CF, that's awesome!
