You creationists all ways make the same mistakes. You think you can pick and choose what parts of science you can keep and what parts you can toss out. The problem is that it is all connected.
Only in the twisted imagination of godless so called science devotees. In actual fact, nothing is connected to an unproven same state past. The only connection is imaginary.
There is no science that is only about the past or future.
I agree. Science is firmly stuck in the present.
When we find pillow lava in the geological column, it looks just like pillow lava forming today. We know how it forms because we can watch it form. If it is the same as the pillow lava we find in the column, it obviously formed the same way.
So, is there any pillow lava from pre flood? If so, where is it? Let's check the atomic structure, and microscopic details. You make the claim, you support it.
When we find Stromatolites in the geological column, we know they formed in the same way as they do today, because they are exactly the same.
Woah. Let's look at some modern ones living today. Seems like the experts are less certain than you..
"But its not just their varied shapes that makes them so interesting. Its the fact that
no one knows how they formed...
Cyanobacteria in other locations are famous for building a variety of structures, from thick rubbery mats to layered dome-like structures known as stromatolites, which are thought to have been the dominant form of life on early Earth. Today, though, they are rare, existing only in extreme environments.
Chris McKay of NASA Ames Research Center. McKay was one of the first scientists to scuba dive in Pavilion Lake. When you look at structures like this, the standard hypothesis is that organisms are playing a role in creating them. But we havent proven that here.

When we find banded iron formations, we know they formed by the oxidation of iron salts in the early oceans, and that means before that time period that there was little free oxygen in the atmosphere. I could go on, but you should get the point by now.
No. You may know how they now form.
I remember when you first talked abut your split/merge nonsense here in this forum. You cannot fool me now, dad. You said you had come up with a way of reconciling what science says about the earth with your interpretation of scripture. Deep time, you said was an illusion caused by "the Split," and the earth was really not billions of years old. Before the Split the laws of physics were different. Not becasue of what scripture said, but because it gave you an ad hoc means of reconciling your understanding of scripture with our understanding of the earth. Period. No revelation from God. No new understanding of what the authors of The Bible meant. It was all ad hoc and it still is.
Vague balderdash. The different state past is a way of seeing how the bible was right, and where science gets off.
Most Christians interpret it that way.. why? Because that is what is "obvious."
Commentators have different opinions. It is not something that was black and white, and understood fully. With the newer evidence of science, such as the continental separation, combined with the info on the past in history and the bible, we can add a little depth to our former comprehension of that event.
Clear only to "God's Little Echo." But then, you are God's new prophet on earth... aren't you, dad?
You are starting to sound obsessive.
