Seven months ago, an intrepid PJ Media columnist with wonderful hair opined that the transgender movement would bring down the ultra-commies running the Democrat party.



While the Democrats were attacking white Christians for believing women are women and men are not, they never thought the Muslim community might have a say in all this. They do.

We are less than a week before the midterms, and the Democrats are in panic mode. They didn’t learn from Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s victory last November — don’t mess with people’s kids — and they didn’t see themselves possibly losing Michigan.

Wayne County, Mich., which includes Detroit, has been a fortress for Democrats for decades. Part of that reason is Dearborn, which is home to the largest Muslim population in the U.S. Also, Hamtramck, Mich., a small town almost entirely enveloped by Detroit, is the only majority Muslim town in the U.S. Muslims have also moved into Detroit’s Warrendale neighborhood, which borders Dearborn. There are a lot of Muslim voters, and most of them have voted Democrat in the past.

Muslims aren’t always friendly with the LGBT crowd, and they don’t want their kids exposed to gay inappropriate content in their schools. They don’t believe in a 14-year-old’s “right” to have his penis lopped off behind his parents’ backs. They are not down with aborting a child at all, much less a week before it’s born. Hilariously, these are three of the Democrats’ election battle flags in 2022. What could go wrong?

When I was a kid, Hamtramck was nearly 110% Polish. It had one of the largest concentrations of Polish Catholics outside of Poland. Back in the 1950's somebody even wrote a song about it:

There's a city called Hamtramck
That really is dynamic
The people there have put it on the map;
Oh, the girls, to be specific
Are really quite terrific
To steal a kiss you'll find it worth a slap!

There's Jaworski, Kowalski, and Kawinski!
You won't find a Mr. Smith or Mr. Brown there
But you'll find they really have a growing town there;
So if you're in the neighborhood, why not go down there?

There's pierogi, kielbasi, and kabusta!
And a lot of other food you won't be usta;
If you're Stanley, you're "Stosh"
If you're Johnny, you're "Yosh"
Up and down Hamtramck way;
Oh, the names that they use
Are enough to confuse

Chrysler and GM both had huge manufacturing plants in the area, which employed thousands, and the Polish culture was colorful and solid. However, in the late 1970s/early '80s, the automobile plants had all shut down, and large sections of the old Polish neighborhoods stood abandoned as the workers and families moved out; entire blocks were bulldozed. By the early 1990s, large numbers of immigrants from Yemen, Pakistan, Nepal, India, and Bangladesh began moving in, and for better or for worse, it now has the largest Muslim concentration in America.
