metroid fusion zero mission

I just got metroid fusion today. I worked like 2 hours to get it used, and I was hoping it would be pretty neat, but I threw it in the trash.
I do not want to support games that show any kind of suggestive stuff, and I know it would not be healthy training for my little boy and girl.
When Samus died, it flashes a picture of her in her underwear.
My question is, does zero mission do this too? I really wanna get that, if it is suitable, but I do not want it if they gotta portay people in their underwear. If you own zero mission, please let me know, cuz I do not want to waste more money. Thanks!

I know this might sound wrong to you. But, I think you may be taking it a bit too far. It may be a reason why there have been no posts here since your OP.

I'm not really sure what you mean by underwear though...

Metroid 3 (Super NES) had Samus's suit explode and you can see her in her body suit.

I'll have to check both Fusion & Zero again. Can't remember what the animations were. Probably because I was more concerned about the GAME, more that what Samus was wearing when she dies.

If you are concerned about suggestive clothing I would be more concerned with people and their suggestive clothing in the media and in the "real world".

I'm sorry, but I, like most other posters here, don't think the death animation of Samus is anything to worry about at all. It seems quite petty. But if you know it in your heart, love from GOD, that it is not right, then by all means, do not buy games like that. I would say that TV is more damaging to your kids. And I am sure I could go on and on about other media influencing our children. But, I strongly agree that parents should screen all media before letting their kids watch or play anything.

My advice. Don't buy anything. Have your kids not play video games, because they can waste your life and your money.

Good grief...

Do you never take your children to a swimming pool? ...or to the beach?
Do you find this image, from Ghouls and Ghosts, suggestive?

My question is, does zero mission do this too?

From what I recall, only when the game is completed. I don't believe that it does this when the character dies, but I could be wrong. I haven't played it in while. Come to think of it, I don't even remember dying in that game.


If you're looking for a game that doesn't promote sex, might I suggest Metal Slug Advance? I don't know who you voted for in the past US election, but just in case you voted for Mr. Bush, you might be happy to know that Metal Slug Advance features the killing of many Arabs. That's much better than the killing of evil alien monsters and flashes pornography which are featured in Metroid.

I am pretty sure zero mission is about the same. But my two cents are this I think it's possible to be over catious I mean if you ever go to the beach even a very faimly freindly one you will see people wearing thing more revealing than in either of the metroid games same with TV even watching a kids only channel chances are there will be a show that shows a girl in a swimsuit where as when samus gets defeated it shows her in a somewhat revealing suit, but accually at the end of the game if you beat it fast ehogh with enough upgrades you see that it's not underwear it's shorts and a shirt I could post a pic but I aint sure if it would be considered appropriate I wouldn't consider it that bad but at the same time I aint the most conservitive person out there.

I also want to add that I am a huge game fan but your going to have troubles finding game without any suggestive themes even games like Sonic the Hedgehog have a little of that the only series I can really think of that has absolutly no somewhat suggestive themes is Mario games
