for the law made nothing perfect; on the other hand, there is the bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

Jesus is YHWH.

Jesus is The Way.

Jesus is The Truth.

Jesus is The Life.

No one comes to The Father except through Him.

If you teach people to try to come to God through the Law you are turning them away from YHWH!

Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

New covenant in the NT does not mean "new in time."
It means new in form and quality, of different nature from the old.
Vines states that it is the meaning in:

a new creation (2Co 5:17)
a new creative act (Gal 6:15),
a new man (Eph 4:24)
a new commandment (Jn 13;34).
a new covenant (Mt 26:28).

These are totally different, radically new in nature.

You do not understand the NT if you think "new" in the above simply means they were not accustomed to them.

Sorry, but it is clear from Vine's (and other lexicons & dictionaries, TDNT, Liddells, Thayer, etc.), that kainoß is only new in the sense that men and women may not have not seen it before, but it has existed in the past (e.g., not new in time). Messiah came to bring the Renewed Covenant (the "old" covenant, refreshed), not the Brand-New Covenant as prophesied by Jeremiah.

The tomb was new in the sense that it was unused. It was not created then and there - it had been created in the past, unused up to that point.

Eating special foods.

It's about being joined with God, through Christ, not of works, but through His shed blood, that we might have the relationship with Him, to walk with Him, to Love Him, to be filled with His Spirit, to walk in The Spirit and nof fulfill the lust's of the flesh.

that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

If you think God has given us His Spirit so we can be good rule keepers, you missed the mark.

Without The blood of Jesus, we have no relationship with Him!


For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

It's His righteousness, not yours because you think you can "keep" His Law!

I appreciate what you wrote, but I am well aware of the Pauline message, having walked that way for 20+ years. I see now how Paul's message of faith alone without works is diametrically opposite to that of Messiah's. I urge you to re-read Messiah's parables and words, without filtering them through the eyes of Paul:

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither is the apostolos than he that sent him. Jn 13:16
