If I had to pick one guy I would say ThunderPeel.

I didn't get to know him very well but I think we had/have similar views in regards to scripture and spirituality, and he seemed like he was good at applying scripture to real life circumstances. Plus he likes rock music and is a fellow Wisconsinite.

He still comes on some of the other forums once in a while but is married of course so doesn't come to singles anymore.

Yeah Ethnog was great, I was a little disappointed to see that she had left (I can understand the reasons for people leaving though). She is a skilled artist, too - she probably still has some pictures in the "Post your artwork" thread.

Because there's a lot more to him than most of y'all know. He really encouraged me during a tumultuous time in my life a few years ago and offered me advice that I don't think I could have gotten from anyone else on here. Most of y'all only probably remember his random 'I like pizza' posts, but I remember much more than that about him. He's kind, he's funny, he has a slight 'edge' about him, he's a New Yorker, has a cool car, was in the military, and has a much deeper faith than he ever showed. I really miss him.

Why doesn't he post anymore? I used to see his post all the time when I was a newbie then he suddenly disappeared. I've seen he's been online a few times recently.

I miss Pink, she was nice. And cute too.

There were a few members who were blacklisted from joining, like me and Going Merry.

I told an admin to ban all the people who were doing this, and they said they'd look into it.

Merry joined, only to post a picture of a corpse in the 'post a picture of yourself' thread. I'm pretty sure it was something like that anyway, or a zombie..

Thunder was legendary. Shame we lost him to marriage... Pretty sure he might still hang around the young adults or whatever it's called though? And Toro always had a funny picture for every moment.

she is an Eastern Orthodox Christian, she had a good sense of humor, did not take stuff too seriously. Even though she was EO, she was friendly to other Christians and had respect for other churches

Friggen yes! She was one of the first peeps to be friendly with me.

Pink Sweetheart (I believe), Ester (Queen E), Ericka, Keri - all peeps who accepted me, prayed for me, and encouraged me - even with frank and 'real stuff' when I was struggling with some crap, and not feel weirded out by it.

Miss Spaulding would be included on this, but she still posts here just always felt a platonic love and respect towards her - she's mad awesome.

It would take too long to post all of the reasons why, but I would say Ethnog and little_tigress. They both brought a lot of feminine wisdom to Singles. Unfortunately sometimes it just seems easier to start over fresh in a new world rather than work for the betterment of the one you're in.

I would echo Xavia as well. Always loved her perspective. And Rose of Eden. She was always a blast to have on here. She's the one person out of all of these that I would say I miss the most.

Then there's Maka and Amber.ly. Maka was one of the nicest people here, and Amber was just plain awesome.
