CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I like my seasons and don't want to give them up. I think I'll be the weirdo who wants to retire in places where there'll be much snow in winter. Also, I love to cuddle by fireplaces in late fall and in winter. It's so romantic and so cozy! LOL

I'm with you. I still love the winters. Tho not as much as when I was younger. My new snow blower sure helped me enjoy last winter. My GF has a hot tub .. that is really nice and romantic in the winter. To add another good thing about winter.

I'm originally from Southern California. I always say...seasons are overrated!
I miss the snow-free winters with temps in the 60s. Ahhhh...that was the life...

Howdy norski! So you kind of like frosset vann = is (ice) or snø (snow)? 
I am not fond of it, or of the dark months in the Winter, but what can I do about it except take one day at a time and look forward to a new Spring springing some months after Christmas? lol I was not happy the day when I slipped and fell and fractured my ankle, and it was on April 1st this year. Oh dear!
We had snow from October till April, so I would think I know what snow is, or at least that I have an idea of what it is, hehe. I prefer icecream to ... ice .. and snow.

I don't mind the snow too much, the the long dark days aren't much fun. Ice cream is much better for sure.
