I was just thinking....What happened to Gwenyfur? Did I know and then forget (always a possibility lol)

In my world I have teenage boys, (doesn't that say it all? ) My granddaughter is visiting for a week starting tomorrow so that will be nice. Her mom was supposed to come here too but that didn't work out (mom lives in OK and gd lives in CA and they were gonna come here for a week and all drive back together) Kinda glad not to have the extra company, cuz even my granddaughter will be taxing on my already tight finances (sigh). Still working thru my issues like everyone (mostly finances and weight for me) still single, no dates (yet ) just being content where God has me right now (cuz I'm barely handling that ) One of my boys is a Senior in High School the other is a Freshman, should be an interesting year. When I get my oldest thru college I will feel SO much better!

I have 2 boys, Zachary (goes by Xak) 17, and Chase 13, I also have 2 step daughters, Crystal 36, who has two children Devin 13, and Kendall, 9?, and my other step daughter Misty will be 34 in July, who has 4 children, Orion 15, Saige 11, Hannah 7, and Gabriel 5. Then I have a step son Chad 42, who has 2 children, Ashley 9? and Alec 7?

It is a lovely sunny morning here... well actually lunch time now.. we slept in.. going to night church.. just got back home from picking up daughter and friends.. she now has my car.. yikes..

I am lonely for chat.. to talk... my husband and my relationship is drifting further and further apart.. maybe that is a good thing with the divorce finalizing next month when I go to court..

I am a lot happier.. if I don't think about things.. but something it missing in my life.. makes me think of that song.. LOL.. kids not happy with current church so might have to change.. going to finish counselling soon but then move onto some kind of one on one course with a lady from the salvos.. Cannot think of the name.. but tis a helpful course about getting back out there.. helping with direction, decision making, the kind of life situations I have been through that isolate you and cause you problems to communitcate with others.. Anyway I signed up.. because I kinda feel lost and need some direction..

I totally get the church thing with the kids. That's one of the reasons I go to the church I do, is because the kids like it. I want them to want to go. I can worship anywhere the true word of God is taught but it's important for me for them if that makes sense.

That was posted on face book today.. and it so sums up how I feel often sigh.. I hope that might also resound with some here.. I know you are all such great souls and some of you are holding back but I know you want too talk.. so open up to me.. even if you just say hi every day.. sooner or later in the presence of friends here it will bubble out.. I know I am bubbling out more and more these days and I have many of you to thank for that.. ((Hugs))

The 4th is the day we declared our independence from Great Brittian in 1776. So the 4th is called independence day. But of course no one is very independent these days. But we certianly can be free. Its each or our responsibility to hold onto our freedom. Unfortunately, big government is legally taking away our freedom each year in the name of protecting up from harm. But it seems they spend no time trying to protect us and keep us free!

Thanks for the updates everyone. Sorry I've taken a while to get back on here. I'm out of the habit.

I have 3 daughters, Elyse 20, Kaylie 18, and Jessica 15 - at least that will be their ages in a few weeks. All their birthdays are in July.

I don't know what you remember about me but I finished my counselling degree a few years ago and have been working in counselling for the last 3 years.
Currently I'm working as a Drug and Alcohol rehabilitation counsellor andI also have a small private practice where I do general counselling.

I'm thinking about starting starting study again this semester but have missed the cut off date so have to wait to see if they'll take a late application.

Clearing still single..... since I'm chatting here

Although I would love to be in a relationship I am content with my life and am grateful for God's faithfulness and blessing in my life.

It's hard to open up when you're not a 100% that people care! Not saying that I think you don't, because never in any of your posts have I ever gotten the feeling that you would turn away...but in general...when you're a newbie on a forum like this, it's easier to keep quiet than to face rejection!

I've felt that way SO much. I want to just let it all hang out! But I don't want to intimidate people, or scare people off. I've got a lot of stuff that I wish I could look for advice on, or love and support. So, maybe I'll start by sharing a bit with you? You seem like such a beautiful soul!
