CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thanks guys! Today my first born is 17! We are going out to dinner and then to the mall to get him some clothes. I'm very excited to spend some time with him as it is a rarity at his age.

Great evening with the son! Had dinner at Serrano's (one of our favorite mexican restaurants here) they have the best bean dip ever! Then we went to the mall and he got 2 tank tops and yes, I do like them both. I also told him to take the money he owes me and pay for his next tattoo. He was very happy about that. Then he and his girlfriend went to the movies and I went home. My other son hooked up with his friends at the mall and spent the night with them. So yeah, great evening!
I almost got thru the last box of shredding at work, but stupid thing overheated so I have to finish on Monday. Oh well boss is out all week, so I didn't vacuum because I wasn't done making a mess lol. But I only have a handful of paperwork left to shred. It will probably fill up before I finish LOL but still glad THAT task is almost done. At least for another year.

You, GF and I had a good time this weekend. Besides the pizza we got out to see the move the fighter that was about a guy/family that live about 20 miles from where I live.

Then tonight after work my friend Craig came by to check out the work I'd don't on my house. He thought I did a great job. the out of pizza .. hmmmm,

well...1 I've been here more than 6 years...
2 ... spending 3 years on staff really boosted my post count...'cause well...yeah...other areas of CF generate *tons* of reports to "speak up" in...
though I think I've barely posted 200 in the last 2 years...

nope...not really...
here and there now and again...trying to be just a member while on staff...which never works by the way...
so I snuck in over here in singles just to keep in touch with old friends, maybe make some new ones after taking nearly a year away...
