Quick update: The truck is repaired. I did lose a pulley in the deal, the tensioner spring broke and that undoubtedly caused the rest of the trouble. A little over seven hundred for the belt and tensioner and tow, with a notation that the truck needs a couple thousand more in work to be done (no surprise, actually it needs more than that) but the immediate crisis is over. Lost a day's pay in the deal too.

mj, it's amazing how expense vehicle repair can be. Hopefully all is well and it's one less thing to worry about.

Today I decided I needed a new start here at CF, so I've changed my avatar and title. I truly want to be transformed by the renewing of my mind and be the Christian woman I'm supposed to be. I have to admit that I'm a misfit Jesus freak and that The Lord accepts me as I am. It's so simple yet so profound (at least to me). Have a great day, everyone! I totally get it...and chuckled heartily...

I'm always amazed at how different sects approach healing...

I will say it's my own fault I got this sick...I *know* what to do at the first sign on bronchitis to nip it in the bud...I failed to do it...

Trying... trying.. to stay positive.. just some thing happened in my life.. that may or may not direct my life in a whole different direction.. LORD help me see the good always.... and stay positive.. and thank YOU LORD.. that my future is a good one and help me look to YOU alone for it.. I can hardly wait sometimes for what it is..

Well, I'm back home after several days of being pampered and spoiled.

Today I take Bug(my youngest daughter) to the Dr...she's been sick a few days now...
Take mom to the car dealership to drop off her car
Get the windshield in my car repaired (so glad safelite comes here!)
Got a little housework and laundry to catch up on...
and all in all a normal day around here.

Will squeeze in some job hunting and resume editing while I'm at it

Ate at several new to me restaurants last week, went to see RED, which turned into a chick flick towards the end, but all in all had a wonderful time with my friend. As much as I enjoy his company and spoiling of me, it's good to be home...

Some days I loathe coming to this forum (not this thread ok, the site in general). SO hard to get responses on threads. Oh well what's a girl to do, besides complain? lol Don't need any darn responses anyway, so there. I just get frustrated. Someone starts a silly thread "whats your second favorite color?" and the board goes wild. I start a thread and get 14 views and NO replies....that's fine...just fine....over and out.
