  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Mat 8:17 How it might be filled up fully that spoken saying through Esaias the prophet, saying, Those of us having weaknesses [lacking of spiritual strength] he, himself, took and he sustained their sickness.
Thanks. The term ασθενειας also means a physical lack of strength, right?

or from a lack of muscle tone. :p
Right, lack of Brain muscle tone. The purpose of the Bible is to get you to think for yourself. When we have what seems to be a conflict between scriptures it is to advance the teachings to expand your thoughts into a realization that not everything as taught by Orothodox theology is the Truth. Explore the deeper meanings and you will aquire the Spiritual mentality that God will provide you with for understanding and what I suggest is not always the correct translation but to inspire you to search.

This is good. eis to peran is easy enough to understand, but difficult to put into words. To go away beyond the mob makes sense in the context. But the same phrase eis to peran is used in Matt 8:28 when they crossed the sea.

Alopecia is the medical description of the loss of hair from the head or body, alopecia tends to be involuntary and unwelcome, e.g., androgenic alopecia.

However, it may also be caused by a psychological compulsion to pull out one's own hair (trichotillomania) or from burns to the scalp from hot hair irons).
