τοτε απεκριθησαν τινες των γραμματεων και φαρισαιων λεγοντες διδασκαλε θελομεν απο σου σημειον ιδειν

Then answered some the scribes and pharisees saying teacher we-want from you a-sign to-see

Then some of the scribes and pharisees were saying, "Teacher, we want to see a sign from you."

Mat 12:38 τοτε απεκριθησαν αυτω τινες των γραμματεων και φαρισαιων λεγοντες διδασκαλε θελομεν απο σου σημειον ιδειν
Mat 12:38 Then some of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered him, saying, Teacher, we wish to see a sign from you.

Mat 12:39 ο δε αποκριθεις ειπεν αυτοις γενεα πονηρα και μοιχαλις σημειον επιζητει και σημειον ου δοθησεται αυτη ει μη το σημειον ιωνα του προφητου

Mat 12:39 But he answered and said to them, An evil and adulterous generation earnestly sought a sign; and there shall not a sign be given to them, except the sign of Jonas, the prophet:

Mat 12:40 ωσπερ γαρ ην ιωνας εν τη κοιλια του κητους τρεις ημερας και τρεις νυκτας ουτως εσται ο υιος του ανθρωπου εν τη καρδια της γης τρεις ημερας και τρεις νυκτας

Mat 12:40 For Just as Jonas was in the belly of the sea-monster three days and three nights; in this manner the Son of man shall be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights.

Mat 12:41 ανδρες νινευιται αναστησονται εν τη κρισει μετα της γενεας ταυτης και κατακρινουσιν αυτην οτι μετενοησαν εις το κηρυγμα ιωνα και ιδου πλειον ιωνα ωδε

Mat 12:41 The men of Nineveh shall stand up in the judgment with this generation, and shall reprove it: because they regreted for having done wrong at the preaching of Jonah; and, Lo, more than Jonah is here.

Mat 12:42 βασιλισσα νοτου εγερθησεται εν τη κρισει μετα της γενεας ταυτης και κατακρινει αυτην οτι ηλθεν εκ των περατων της γης ακουσαι την σοφιαν σολομωνος και ιδου πλειον σολομωνος ωδε

Mat 12:42 The regina to the south shall raise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall reprove it: for she came from close by the land to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, more than Solomon is here.

Note: in local sense, “ἐκ περάτων γᾶς close, close by

Mat 12:43 οταν δε το ακαθαρτον πνευμα εξελθη απο του ανθρωπου διερχεται δι ανυδρων τοπων ζητουν αναπαυσιν και ουχ ευρισκει

Mat 12:43 But when the verminous spirit goes out of a man, he walks through waterless places, seeking rest, and finds none.

Mat 12:44 τοτε λεγει εις τον οικον μου επιστρεψω οθεν εξηλθον και ελθον ευρισκει σχολαζοντα σεσαρωμενον και κεκοσμημενον

Mat 12:44 Then he saith, into my house I will return from thence I came out; and to come, finding it swept clean, and orderly, to have leisure.

:45 τοτε πορευεται και παραλαμβανει μεθ εαυτου επτα ετερα πνευματα πονηροτερα εαυτου και εισελθοντα κατοικει εκει και γινεται τα εσχατα του ανθρωπου εκεινου χειρονα των πρωτων ουτως εσται και τη γενεα ταυτη τη πονηρα

Mat 12:45 Then it make one’s way to and takes in with itself seven other spirits more artful, than itself, and entering into, reside in that place, and the last man from there becomes worse than the first. Just as it will be with this artful generation."

Mat 12:46 ετι αυτου λαλουντος τοις οχλοις ιδου η μητηρ και οι αδελφοι αυτου ειστηκεισαν εξω ζητουντες αυτω λαλησαι
Moreover as he talked to the people, Lo, his mother and his brothers were standing outside seeking to talk to him

Mat 12:48ο δε αποκριθεις ειπεν τω λεγον τι αυτω τις εστι η μηρ μου και τι νες εισιν οι αδελ

Mat 12:48 But he answered and said to him that told him: Who is my mother, and why are they new brothers?

Mat 12:49 και εκτινας την χιρα αυτου επι τους μαθητας αυτου ειπεν ϊδου η μηρ μου και οι αδελφοι μου

Mat 12:49 And he extended his hand toward his disciples, and said, Lo, my mother and these my brothers!

Mat 12:50 οστις γαρ αν ποιηση το θελημα του πρς μου του εν ουνοις αυτος μου αδελφος κ(α&#953 αδελφη και μηρ

Mat 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father in heaven, the same are my brother, and sister, and mother.

Mat 13:1 εστιν εν τη ημερα εκινη εξελθων ο ις εκ της οικιας εκαθητο παρα τη θαλασσαν

Mat 13:1 As the day came Jesus came out of the house, and sat by the sea side.

Mat 13:2 και συνηχθησαν προς αυτον οχλοι πολλοι ωστε αυτον εις πλοιον εμβατα καθησθε και πας ο οχλος επι τον αιγιαλον ϊςτη κι

Mat 13:2 And a large crowd gathered together near to him, so that he removed himself upon the ship, and sat; and all the crowd stood on the seashore

Mat 13:3 και ελαλησεν αυτοις πολλα εν παραβολαις λεγων ϊδου εξηλθεν ο σπιρων του σπιρε

Mat 13:3 And he spoke mostly to them in parables, saying, Lo, a sower went out to sow;

Mat13:4 και εν τω σπιριν αυτον α μεν επεσε παρα την οδον και ηλθεν τα πετινα και καταφαγεν αυτα

Mat 13:4 And when he sowed, some men, these fell by the way side, and came the winged and ate them away:

Mat 13:5 αλλα δε επεσεν επι τα πετρωδη οπου ουκ ειχεν γην πολλην και ευθεως εξανετειλεν δια το μη εχειν βαθος γης

Mat 13:5 Some fell upon rocks, where they had not much earth: and immediately they come up, because they had no ground of any depth

Mat 13:6 ηλιου δε ανατειλαντος εκαυματισθη και δια το μη εχειν ριζαν εξηρανθη

Mat 13:6 But the sun arose, and they were burnt up; because they came up with no root, they consumed away.

Mat 13:7 αλλα δε επεσεν επι τας ακανθας και ανεβησαν αι ακανθαι και επνιξαν αυτα

Mat 13:7 And many fell among those thorns; and the thorns came up, and they suffocated them:
