• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
 • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

ενθυμησεις and ενθυμεισθε were difficult to conveigh.

I was trying to get the θυμός into the translation. Inner thumos, Enthusiam, passion, that sort of thing.

I don't think the verse necessarily says that Jesus was reading their thoughts.

Matthew 2:11 And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

i just thought the three (or however many) wisemen got there later. Not at the manger scene like at Xmas, but later on when Joe and Mary got home.

I'm at work, away from my regular computer.
UBS4 says dia meta not dia ti meta like the Byzantine?

What about "with" for meta?
My bad, it says δια τι μετα but not διατί

G1223 διά by means of, by, for, through, with
G5101 τις τι what, to what extent

Mt 9:11 And the Pharisees saw it, and they said to his learners, By δια what τι means does your Teacher eat with μετα tax collectors and sinners?
